How do you edit players???

I earned 250pts (on challenge mode). I went to the edit a player option and well I had 0 points available? how is this possible? I went to the FIFA store and could have purchased a couple of balls cause I have a total of 250pts available but when I tried editing a player, the game tells me I don't have pts available? Are there different type of points one must earn or something???

The points earned through challenge mode can only be spent in the shop. From here you can unlock boots etc. So if you wanted to edit a player so he had a different set of boots then you'd need to buy that from the shop first.

Thanks, but I was referring to being able to modify players ratings? I.E. Maldini has a 95 rating for tacking, how could I switch that to 99? the game tells me, not enough pts available!

I think you have to redistribute the points from another of his attributes, so if you minus another attribute by 4 you can put one up by 4.

hello everyone here
i would like to ask soemthing i ve edited my player with almost everything around 99 it supouse to have 97 in general atributes but when i use it it feeels like a 70 skills player can anybody suggest something
