help with graphics

I should say apart from this graphics are fine, the problem is on some pitches the best way I can discribe it , its like a heatwave shimmer effect. It moves back and forth then stops for a second or two and then the pitch looks fine then as soon as the players move I get the glimmer/heatwave effect ontop of the grass, and its getting sore on the old eyes after a very short time.

My card is a GF4 TI4200 128mb ran PES3 fine with none of this effect on the grass?

Ps .. I have set my res to 800x600 and med graphics.. game is fine at that for me I just need to get rid of this eye sore on the grass!

waves like that usually occur when v-sync is off- enable it in the display properties-> settings and it should be fine...

enabling Anisotropic Filtering (AF) helped me a lot. you can enable AF in your gfx card settings or with extern program like riva tuner..

that cured the pitch .. :)

but brought other problems ... now the players animations is affected, if not keystone cops then it looks like a little bit of lag and it looks like the players figures are vibrating as they move?

I had this when I had my res setting up at 1280 x 1024 and high graphics , I put it down to 800 x 600 and Med Graphics and all was fine not a judder, but i did then get the shimmer/heatwave effect on the park.

Now that i have turned AF on I am getting the same effect as having High Graphics setting and high res settings. Catch22!

What does it take to run this game as I could PES3? has it change that much from PES3, that myu rig can not run it without these graphic glitches?

my rig
P4 2Ghz Northwood
80Gb Seagate Hd
1GB DDR
GF4 TI4200 128Mb
Home XP.

I get the same problems MightyTic, on a Geforce ti4400 128mb (using 66.81 forceware drivers), P4 2ghz and 512mb ram.
I've resorted to switching everything on my graphics setting to Application Controlled (AA, AF, Vsync off), and play on 'performance' graphic settings (all set through my Nvidia control panel).
I then play on 1024x768, high graphics , of course at 60hz, and the play is smooth with the pitch looking good. The only problem I get now is occasional 'tearing'. But when I turn vsync 'on' to rectify that the game turns choppy!
Seems some of us are destined to have to put up with some kind of graphical glitch :( .
Next up I'm going to try 800x600, high graphics, vsynch on to see if that makes any difference.

Mighty Tac i have same problem it must be the 64 mb GeForce 4200 TI card that i have...else i have 2,0 GHz, 512 DDR ram and 80 gb and winblows XP...AF removes waves but makes the game stutter i fast sequences...

All the people that i have seen with these problems have Ge**** cards!
