I'm using Winterthur (Swiss Challenge) and i'm getting torn apart. I have 3 draws in my first 3, because my keeper is a beast.

I'm getting outshot like 25 to 4 every game.

How can I tighten up my defense with crap players and no money?

I had a game with Winterthur on CM03/04 (H) They got some great attackers, I completly forgot their names though, one was some young swiss player who was in the NT. after 1 year.

Don't set the defenders too defensive, if you do, the opposition will have acres of space, enabling them to shoot at your goal often.
