Help me get online and kick some ass? (WE9 PC)

Hi all, i appologize if this has already been answered; i searched the forum but couldnt find any info regarding this issue.

So i have Winning Eleven 9 PC version (equivalence of PES 5?). I successfully register online and have the password. When i go to NETWORK in the game and enter the password, click Connect, it gives me this error:

"An error occurred during verification"

I don't have any firewall on although i connect to the game through an 2WIRE modem/router. And can play all other online games just fine.

Please help me out if you have some clue. I would love to get online and play with you all. Thank you!

well.. did you buy the game??

im not sure if pes games use ports or anything but PES should still be able to connect to the server and allow you to play games if you have a legitimate copy.

Of course i did.

I tried changing the password on the register page and using the new one. Still no luck.
