It says that according to the members of the EA studio, they said that FIFA 09 is the last current gen in the fifa series...So we can have hope that FIFA 10 will be Next-gen

I own NHL 09 for PC and its the same as the 2005 version.

AND there will be no NHL 10 so you guys are more than lucky, Be glad with what you have.


BTW: FIFA 09 Graphics are amazing compared to NHL 09.

As for your second question, the fact that I work exclusively on NG by no means imply that the PC version will be inferior. It is just a different production team, but I am sure they are doing their best to give you a FIFA10 for PC that will improve every year.

this may not exactly say: FIFA10 will be NG, but it doesn't say it won't be greatly improved, which NG is, and although i realize there may be slight avoidance in what he said, doesn't mean theres a chance.

the dont use te ps3 engine because only 2% of pcs on markeet would be able to handlle it so if they did they lose aalot of money

that is why iit wont be current gen.

evryone needs ton stop sayiing ¨next gen¨ and calll it current gen and past gen ps3/xbox 360 is not next gen anymppre its currrent

And you are believing the EA lies ? Tell me, why i can run PES 2009 Next-Gen on PC with 75FPS on high settings on a 9600GT GPU.
Why i can run NBA 2K9 NG PC with 75FPS on High settings in 1280&1024 resolution ?
Tell me, why Crysis and Empire Total War wasn't made for PS3/Xbox360 ? I will give you the answer: An Xbox360/PS3 can't handle this type of next-gen games.
They don't want to make a good game, because if they want they will make AT LEAST a very good current-gen -> a new commentary, new ball physics, next-gen turfs, next-gen nets etc etc ...

... you really dont know Technology do you? Its not the graphics card in Ps3's Case its the Cell Proccessor. That alone is much more powerful than any PC o the market ATM.

It's not about the graphics its about the gameplay/AI

PS3 Is far superior to PC's a PS3 has the potential to have games at 120FPS easy but no HDTV's on the market can handle that ATM but it's still ther for when thy eventually come out.

As you can see the graphics part of pc and console versions is very close. The graphics part has nothing to do with a PC being able to handle "next gen" (which in reality is current gen now) All you need for th graphics part is a Good Video card. It's the gameplay aspect.

Face it Console are the future of gaming and PC's frankly are dead for gaming. Only MMO's on PC are superior to consoles which very soon even mmo's will be better on PS3 (****box 360 cant handle a mmo all it can handle is a 18 player max crap cause it sucks.) with Massive Action Game MAG a ps3 only game (cause ****box 360 is to crap to even remotely think it can handle it) that is a 256 Max player in 1 game mmo shooter that game will start the mmo's being made for consoles and kill PC gaming for good.

it's time for people to get with the times and get a f'ing PS3 already. The money people spend upgrading and buying new pcs you can buy like 5 PS3's a a couple nice HDTV's.

With a pc it costs thousands to be able to play a uber game with constant great FPS where a PS3 is $300.

yah with Console versions you cant edit the game but what does that really matter. The ability to mod games is not worth spending thousands of dollars for.

Example right now if i wanted to be able to run the top demanding pc games id needs to spend like $3000-4000 and frankly id rather buy a couple nice hdtvs and 2 ps3's.

PS3 is superior to pc AND Much cheaper Wheres the logic in spending much more for an inferior system?

but if the gameplay is not nex gen so what the use of having all these great graphics......for fifa10 to be nex gen there should be a combination of high graphics quality along with a next gen gameplay:innocent_smile_1:

I agree fernando. what i want right now is for random players to wear gloves and long sleeves when they are in wet or colder conditions, not just "winter" mode.

This was true at the middle of 2008 year. Now that there are GPU able to make physic operations and CPU able to make graphic operations, a quad core PC with a good graphic card can handle all the games at the same level of a Ps3. Probably you are right that the Ps3 is not already exploited at its 100% but I don't think its technology (which I know very well too) is far better than a standard good PC.
If you see programmers were obliged to make a new version of the Cry Engine (depotentiated one) to make people play Crysis in Ps3. Then, if you tell me that the engine made for PC is not well made given that it has low framerate with top computers, you are right but this is not users fault or CPU/GPU manifacturers fault.
The truth is that now all videogames companies are exploiting the great advantage to make a game that cannot be illegally downloaded from the net and that can be played with no problems also by people that don't even know how to turn on/off a computer.
That's quite all, also if you take into account that programming a game for Ps3 is far more difficult than programming it for PC or Xbox360 just because Ps3 has a different structure.
However I agree with you that if something can be done to scale down the graphics, maybe EA SPORTS is considering the next-gen gameplay too heavy for a lot of computers and they don't want to loose a great part of market in some countries where there is little money to spend to upgrade computers.

Either way it's very expensive to build a top pc like that and frankly isn't worth the money its better to get a ps3 and HDTV.

agree! but in Romania(and other countries) the medium salary is around 140-200/per month! so, which are the conclusions?
