I actually find New Year quite depressing as the new year seems exactly the same as the old one, and I'm reminded of all the various ways in which I'm wasting my life.

Anyone made new years resolutions?

Mine are mostly boring and involve things like working harder and doing more personal writing. Havent bothered with any of that cut down drinking or quit smoking bollocks as they're impossible anyway. However, I've made my marijuana abstinance (7 months now) official by slapping a new years resolution on it. I also vowed to become an apprentice to a butcher and learn all I can about chopping and preparing meat. I find butchers shops almost erotic.
