Hair Tutorial by Ohohohyaya

I haven't tried this tutorial myself yet but will be doing soon.
I needs a thread of it's own...

i think maybe there are perple who think why ronaldo again??
but i made his new hair for this tutorial... plese understand me
let's start~!

my goal style this

1)text updates

2)search hair and import
*i use clark'e hair (color chanege for look easily)

hair text 1
* red chennel = hair base
* blue cheenel -= hair details

3) delete blue chennel & edit red chennel

4) find proper hair text and edit to fit red chnnel

*i use this pic for cr7's hair

*fit like this

5) make new hair text and import

*here is new text

*** it is really important

must regulate transparency (10%~15%) if you don't this
hair looks weird ingame
6) triming side hair

*look so dark side hairs

*choice that brush tool and click~click~click~ to the part you want to trim

7) final

8) PLAYER WHO HAS HAIR DETAILS
* IF YOU NOT EDIT BLUE CHNNEL PART HAIR LOOKS WEIRD

* FILL THE BLUE CHNNEL PART

MAYBE MY WAY OF HAIR MAKING NOT BEST WAY..

and for you want hair text cover on the ea's text
and match looks naturally

if you understand sepak's tutorial
do that way
the reason why i use that way cuz i can't follow sepak's way

how did you get the extract? I can't open the texture editor program on my computer if that's how, sadly.

I don't think I can follow Sepak's way either so I will learn this

File Master 12 - File Exporter
(requires an empty FIFA 12 folder inside an EA Sports folder in this path - C\Program Files or C\Program Files (x86)

Then run this registry file. It basically tricks your PC into thinking it has Fifa 12 installed which you need to run the program so you can export the graphics.

Ok so this is my progress. I've been playing around with the opacity, then trying ingame.
The lower the opacity the less shine/black I get but then the details don't show up so well.

You manage to get really nice details. Do you have trouble with this?

Would be cool to see how other guys are doing.

tbh man, I'm thinking it's because the hair model does wierd things after you reposition it. the colour changes.

I think you can only edit the alphas otherwise you lose details in the hair.
I'm working it out now.

I had problems with white spots on your tutorial dude. I did exactly as you said with the fix.

I really want to learn hair. :P

+1 when i flip the hair the hair texture get darker. how can i rotate the hair without disturbing the hair texture.

Ok I was wrong.

I applied Bale hair texture onto the hair i'm using for sterling. Look what happens...

I haven't re positioned, flipped the hair at all. Both using the same texture.
