I'd just like to know. What kind of file and software do you use to paint directly on a 3D model?

It depends on what you mean by painting directly on a 3d model, mate. Most 3d software allow this kind of stuff. In blender for instance, you can paint directly on a 3d model using its diffuse or peform some kind of texture paint. With kits for example you can use something like the ultimate model made by the brothers and export a shirt, shorts or other models included in the file and use Photoshop Cs5 extended to open the 3d file with the texture you want to paint and do it in photoshop in the 3d view, which is pretty useful when you're not sure where to put stuff on the shirt's texture like a logo or a stripe, for example

Man, your kits are just pure quality and class. I just added the SD Manchester United Kit and it was like night and day. Immediately here to post to say thank you for your time and the work you put out! Your design skills are top notch no doubt.
I don't think I've seen your work in all its glory as I just use the uploaded SD packs. Now the small request would be, is there a way to upload the same packs you do in SD, but in HD packs as well?
Would anyone who knows what they are doing please help in this regard?

1. The Vasco kit looks very nice. I made a Nike version for my own game and have some of the logos ready. But I would need a good logo of the GuaraCamp. If you can provide me that logo and some pics of the kit, to see more details, I could do that kit
2. I will only provide the SD packs, since a HD pack with all the kits in rx3 would be too massive. Makispla already provided a HD rx3 file which can be used to add my textures.
The next project are the Napoli Macron kits. If anybody has pictures of the goalie kits, I'd highly appreciate it

The kit files (HD) can become smaller if people reconvert the blocks after having all the textures in place and it's a pretty big size difference (around 30 something MB to around 6 MB after reconverting) The only block which can't be reconverted after being resized is the crest or it will give terrible results. Guess it has something to do with the alpha layer on that block. But the shirt and shorts texture can be reconverted from BGRA8888 to dtx1 without problems
