Your squad is as good as Chelsea's or Barca's. Once Inter get they **** together they're gonna be almost unbeatable.

Inter have at least a season of football before they reach Barcelona or Chelsea's levels. And I doubt they ever will. They need to make a few changes in the squad and get a capable coach.

Which one ? the one who design a lot of plays for USC or the one who is now with the Titans (got overrated paid) and now he can't draw a nice offensive running play :nape:

hurhurhur.........the USCer, definitely!

You have to remember though, he had complete control at USC, and doesn't now at Tennessee.....plus, the AFC-South ain't no wussie assed, no defence playin' Pac-10.

Serious question here, do you think that the Titans could beat USC? I feel that they could keep it within 20pts, honestly.

Put a line with USC giving -21 to the Titans and I swear that I'd bet the farm on USC covering it.

I remember when Miami was the top class of college football, even named them the 33rd NFL team, and that can actually beat the Bengals. But i do think the Titans can beat USC, THAT'S IF.... and a big IF Kerry Collins is not the starting QB.

True that the PAC-10 is and offensive conference, and you have to face the jaguars twice if you are tennessee, then again you have to face houston (:/)

I am fine with this, we showed weakness in our fiorentina match, we're not ready yet...

I think we will bonce back and qualify from the group.

and yeah Mancini is a sh!t coach, if he dosen't perform this year he is definitly getting sacked.

Inter loses to a team that they should have dominated. I wish this was an unfamiliar headline...goddammit

jim,

The thing is, why should a squad made up of good/great players dominate a "team"?

We saw the same thing with Brazil in the WC. Everyone expected them to dominate, but they had no team, just a bunch of very good players on the pitch with no union.

Inter believed the hype, as many of the fans of the "big clubs" do when playing against lesser known clubs. There are plenty of talented clubs out there who can beat any of the big clubs on any given day. Remember Porto vs. Monaco, the surprise final, but not really when you consider they both had great players and great managers, playing as a team, just not in traditional "big clubs" (although I'm sure the Porto supporters will dispute me on that one)

On paper and in PES Inter has an unbelievable squad, but they have how many new players in the starting 11 this season, for the nth season in a row?

Now before Interistas start off on me, I support Inter in Italy (obviously not fervently, but if I go for anyone in Serie A it's Inter).

I am disappointed with them due to the fact that they consistently assemble an array of talent to match any team in Europe, then disasseble the team and underuse it and just basically manage it very poorly EVERY SINGLE F'N YEAR. It must be very frustrating for you die-hard Interistas out there.

Anyway, I just needed to get that off my chest, because this "surprise result" didn't surprise me at all. I hope Mancini can pull it together, because I'd love to see Inter do well this season (if they lost in the final to Barca I'd be pleased :) )

CarlosDanger, you make a lot of good points and I didn't word my original post correctly. What drives me crazy about these kind of results is that Moratti still seems to think that he can eliminate them by changing the players on the field rather than even considering a different coach.

anyway congratulations Sporting for a well deserved win.

Ok man. I totally understand you there. It does seem that Moratti doesn't get it.
