i do have to admit, it was an awesome game. turkey showed more heart in that second half than i remember any team showing in this tournament.

not to take anything away from their performance, but what was the turkish keeper thinking. i understand when some turkish fans here say that the backup goalie is experienced so it's not a big blow, but volkan was the starting keeper. i don't think he would be in there unless he was better, even slightly. you have to really not be thinking to pull a move like that when the game is minutes away from being over, you being up 1 goal and the ref standing not 15 feet in front of you.

I think Croatia who'll probably finish on top of Group B will be happy. They'd probably rather play Turkey than the Czechs, most unpredictable team though Turkey so you never know.

I don't think Turkey are a surprise team at all. Everone is aware that they are a talented team, and I have always regarded them as such. Sure they can be unpredictable like most teams. They can unexpectedly lose to a lesser team but they can beat a better (on paper) team too.

This comeback was typical of the Turks never say die fighting spirit. The most exciting second half in this competition so far without a doubt.

Congrats Turkey, you earned that victory.

We are wasting him in defense but one of our central midfielder, Mehmet Aurelio will be missing the Croatia game so he will probably play in in the centre, but then again we are talking about Terim so he might do something extremely stupid again

haha, i like how everyone at the beginning of the thread was calling the game a sleeper, then calling it the best game of the tourney. i wouldn't call it game of the tourney but i would call it best finish. what drama.

what a crazy finish. was flipping between both games and missed arda's goal but definitely caught the finish.

feel bad for cech. but the winner was pure class, worthy to be one of the goals of the tourney.

i'm not going to lie, this tournament started off boring and predictable but it has pulled off a complete 180.

Excellent match! Turkey deserved it all the way. Their fighting spirit won them the game. Sheer hunger and a touch of brilliance...aided with a bit of luck but the work ethic took the cake! Turkey showed us today how beautiful football can be and we should all be lucky to have witnessed one of the best matches this year! I'll tell you something, a team as unified and hungry as this is can work wonders. From here on, nothing will surprise me. Long live the beautiful game

It did start out boring. But for those of us that watched the entire game that's what made this comeback all the more amazing... Turkey looked dead in the water in the first half I mean DEAD, but the entire second half they were attacking going after the game...and that second goal was an isolated event cause the Czech's didnt do much besides the goal and the five to ten minutes after it...then it was all turkey.....so again, amazing comeback, and in the unlikeliest of ways the so called "best goalkeeper in the world" (not in my opinion, but that's another topic) makes a schoolyard mistake and then it was all over from there, I just knew Turkey had it in them, and then the Finish on the last goal was AMAZING, by its own right, apart from the drama of the moment it could be one of the best of the tournament....well done Turkey...that Match against Croatia could be another good one...I say, WATCH OUT FOR TURKEY!, they look like world beaters at the moment
