Has anybody completed Global Challenge Aussie Rules? This is the last one I need to complete all the Global Challenge and collect my 500 gamerpoints. Any good tips out there to complete this challenge?

there is a way of beating the challenge by cheating. go to play now mode and set up a 2 player game. after this game go back to the aussie rules challenge and start the game as normal. when the game starts the other team should be set up to be controlled by player 2 so it is easy to run past them and score goals. this works on pc but im not sure about other consoles. hope this helps you

Yea "Aussie Rules" is impossible

I have the 360 version, haven't tried that cheat but I assume it doesn't work on 360 either. I've beaten all of the other challenges (a few practically require you "stack" the lineups ahead of time). I've been playing "Aussie Rules" for the past 3 days, for about 5 hours each day, and the best I've done is get 6 goals two times. Both times it was because the other team got a red card and I just did through balls past their crappy defenders.

My biggest qualm is the quality of the goalkeeper. I swear, they rigged something for this match, the stats of that keeper are horrendous, yet he stops nearly every shot i throw at him. It is absolutely insane.

So far I've been most successful with the following settings:

Australia formation: 1-4-3-2
lineup (reading from the top down, minus the GK's):

australia:
1-4-3-2

moore
chipperfield
emerton
neill
Tiatto
bresciano
viduka
thompson
cahill
kewell

Offensive tactic: counter-attack
Defensive tactic: pressing the ball

Solomon Islands:
4-3-3

Billy
Konofilia
G. Abba
J. Molea
P. Boe
M. Ruhasia
G. Omokirio
G. Suri
B. Suri
M. Houkarawa

The only way I've scored goals is by doing through balls, their defenders are terrible and you can easily outrun them. Viduka is probably the best finisher for australia, but he's way too slow and can't sneak past the offsides trap as well as the other guys. related to this, for a while i tried having bresciano and tiatto as the forwards as they're the fastest on the team. but their finishing skills are not that great, and like I said, this goalie is so amazingly good.
If anyone else has any advice or hints, I'd love to hear them. This game is driving me nuts!!
