Yep, I really enjoyed watching them today. They have a nice core of young German players like Gomez, Hilbert, Khedira, Tasci and Gentner lead by Hildebrand and Meira. Let's hope they can keep this team together a bit longer like the last time. Schalke are very keen on Khedira which is not a suprise after today's match.

They still miss half the starting team.
If they don't beat Gladbach this weekend, 0 points on awayground so far, their coach Doll will probably resign which is a damn shame. They can't sack him, he's a HSV legend and hence the most popular member of the club among their fans. They were chanting "You can all leave except for Doll" after the recent defeats.

Gomez with another goal, he now leads the scoring list. I hope he gets called up to the nt soon. Would be the first nt player of Spanish ancestry.

Too bad he couldn't have been around in the Kuranyi era. Right now it's all Podolski and Klose but maybe with Prinz Poldi injured, he can get a shot. The NT is somewhat rigid about choosing non 100% German's but seeing how guys like the two strikers right now and more aren't 100% German, it shouldn't be a problem.

It's no problem at all. Germany is a multicultural country so it's obvious that there are players of mixed ethnic background in the nt. And let's be honest, it's the only way to remain a a powerhouse in the next decades.

But being fluent in German should be obligatory. Neuville can still hardly string two coherent sentences together.

Beckham is dumb and that is no surprise. What is surprising though is the fact we are 5th in the standing. Dunno you but i predict Magath head on a plater if he keeps messing like this. Hoeness must be getting impatient.
