game wont install, i need help

ok so i'm not very good at computers lets get that over with before we start.

i got football manager 2007 for christmas but only got new pc yesterday i tried to install it but it wont work.

i have got windows vista (the new thing) is that the problem???

this is the message i get
'The installer is unable to run in graphical mode. Try running the installer with the -console or -silent flag.

will someone please reply and tell me what to do becuase i have not got a clue, and i wont be able to play the gane, i have had football manager or championship manager since the 00/01 season, so i am not guna give up now

This kind of technical stuff, you're probably better off asking at sigames.com. You could try running the installer like they advised you. Open "Run", somewhere, don't know Vista yet, but it used to be at the start button. Or you could try <"windows" key> + <r>. Type ("XSetup FM2007 PC.exe" -console) without the () and run it. Or use ("XSetup FM2007 PC.exe" -silent).

X being the location of your CD or DVD drive.

If that doesn't work, maybe there will be someone here who can help you, but it's a very technical problem. You would have a better chance at Sports Interactive.

Could you post if you find out for definite if you can/can't install FM on Vista as I'm seriously considering getting Vista but am holding back until I know how many things are compatible? Cheers.
