Game Sims, Gets past the messages screen, then crashed.

I'm in about the 8th year of a career.. Ive added kits and adboards, but never actually edited any players or anything.. And now.. mid way through the season (9 October) it crashes..

I've been Fifa gaming for a lot of years and come across alot of crashes, but generally its directly before or after a game.. or while it's 'Generating/Simulating Fixtures'

but this gets through all that.. It gives me a result (in this case, against Crewe), tells me that ive got a few players in the team of the month, does all the wages and job security and stuff, and then when when i click advance i very briefly see 'Manager Mode Central' up the top of the screen and then it crashes.

I know the next fixture is Sunderland, so i went and checked their squad and there gui, and everythings' fine. I ran FATM08, and ran the SMC thingo... and nothing seems to be fixing it..

please someone help..

I'd suggest you ask either Steve Pitts or Rinaldo... they know the inner workings of the game better than probably anyone I know outside of EA. (...and maybe better than some of them too! :D)

I made a bit of progress, though. I moved the Sunderland fixture (the one it was stuffin up on) right to the end of the season... and it seems to be getting through the others ok...

So it's Sunderland that's got something wrong with it.

There has been a problem with teams with over 30 players, and Sunderland probably have about 45 players... :D

hehe... No, it's not that.

I even went through in MM08 and deleted all the young players that the game had generated itself, and that didnt solve the problem either...

but i'll figure it out. "I'm on a mission from god" lol

WOOT! i fixed it.

It was either the kit or minikit was corrupt... It showed up ok in Armband master and manager master, but it obviously was NOT ok...

anyway.. im excited... no i can keep playing lol
