Frosty Mod Manager problem

I had Frosty Mod Manager 1.0.5.9 at first, but I didn't play the game for a few days. Today, I tried to Launch it but it never launched, just appearing for 1-2 seconds in Task Manager and then disappearing.

I deleted everything and reinstalled and the same problem, so I decided to try the latest version of Frosty.

Well, I couldn't even setup the game as it gives me this error.



I can't find any solution for this

Maybe It has to do with the version of the game . if you know what i mean (last word in the first line :) )

Yes, while I own the game on origin, however, due to my country being blocked and really slow and shitty internet, it isn't possible to download the game for me (and I have a friend in another country, so I could actually buy anything from origin), so I use the files of that version since I can just copy them from a friend.

But. I've been using Frosty for years now, and there was no problem with those files before a few days ago. It just happened out of nowhere.

Just wanted to ask , is Frosty really necessary if i just want the updated teams ?
Why was it not possible to modify the game files directly ?
