'Free transfer' question for PES3 on PS2

I have the 'Free transfer' mode selected from th PES shop. I want to update the rosters manually (i know sucker for punishment) but am finding a huge problem.

I know the likes of Heinze etc are in the game but not on club teams, my question is, how do i transfer him in to UTD? You have to select a player who is already in a club and as i said some of these players aren't in any but in the game. Am i missing something? How can i get Howard, Kleberson, Henize etc to UTD?

Heinze is on PSG and Howard should be on the US national team if not just create him over the third goalie. And for Kleberson just create him over a Brazilian player.

I know Howard et all are in the national sides, but i cant seem to transfer someone from a international side to club, doesnt allow. Whcih is kinda my problem, i know a lot of the players i want are in the game, just not in club selections. Pain in the hole!!!!!

When i was playin ML, there was a search option for player names.... is that not available for when you want to update the rosters?

Sorry to be a pain guys, but does anyone have an answer to my head melting problem?

All i want to do is update the rosters, the players are in the game but not associated with clubs. How do i get them to my team? (not in ML, just in the regular rosters)
