Anyone know how to fix this? Really would appreciate any help.

Is it a texture problem or a model one ?
You can easily check this by Blender or CM.
I think you've moved some vertexes on the UV map but I'm not sure.

I've faced this problem myself actually. Not sure why it happens.

Not sure.. doubt it's the texture though, the only thing I changed with the texture is I moved the fringe forward a bit because it didn't look right in blender. Other than that, I pushed the top of the hair model down a bit, and the sides in as well. Then just fitted it and exported.

I did a bit of experimenting, and though I could be mistaken, I felt that after importing my custom alpha layer, the red channel's opacity is reduced by a small amount. I did this by comparing the slpha after editing in PS and then exporting the alpha from the png after import/export through blender and placed them over each other, where the red looked slightly darker.

Yeah I noticed that too, ajna suggested re-painting over the white (red channel), which does make a difference in the color of the red. I did that for Ezekiel's hair above, but it's still transparent.

EDIT: Even when I try importing alpha from the hair texture.rx3, or by the image itself in CM, the color changes back to the darker red.

Yeah because as soon as you import it back into the rx3, it gets darker again.

Doesn't work as a .rx3 file, doesn't work when you import it as .png ... what else can be done? I was thinking that there might be a setting to do with the alpha in the materials tab in blender but I don't know what.
