Football Manager 2008: I can't see the player pictures

I can't see the player pictures in my FM 2008, but everything else seems to be ok.
I think it can be something wrong about my settings in "Preferences" and/or I haven't all the files in the right folder/s or something like that, but honestly I don't know much about this stuff at all.

Hope someone can give me some tips I can try!

Well, first of all make sure you have checked "Show player and staff pictures" to "Real and generated pictures".

Also uncheck "Use skin cache" and check "Always reload skin on confirm". Might help.
