I'm really in doubt whether I'm actually going to buy FM 14. On the one hand it would be the first time in ten years that I would skip a version. On the other hand I had such crappy experience with FM 13 that I'm not sure whether I want to waste that type of money again on a game that I barely play.

I always do this in my Australian NT games. But it gets harder and harder every year, when the more accurately introduce players saying no "holding out to be selected for England/Spain/whoever"

Same here. It was an improvement over FM 12 yet I could never get into it.

I think it was the first year of a few major changes. Whenever they make one of those releases, the following year is usually better. It refines the changes

I downloaded the demo, it's the first time I've played one seriously since '07.

It's gonna take some getting used to, I already miss the sliders and unless I'm missing something, the arrows.

Haha, arrows are long gone, at least for 4 editions.

I like the new roles and tactics, but I wish I knew exactly how each role operates.

E.g. When the Poacher role came out I didn't know it would involve having Run with Ball and Run Forward to Often. Now I'll assume things are one way but may be another way without me noticing except by analysing the match.

Yeah, I'm still learning all the new roles. I have to figure out a way to stop them from getting behind the defense, I could probably start by dropping Gibbs because he's unbelievably shit on there (not that Monreal is much better, mind you).

I played this and beat Marseille 3-0 in the Champions League, but even though I'm unbeaten in the league I'm getting my ass handed to me statistically and being repeatedly bailed out by Laurent Koscielny scoring with his nose or his dick or something.
