FM06 VS FM05 +Training question

Three threads in one. First, how much better is 06 to fm05, I have a really good game going in 05 with Ajax in a custom super league, but I have been gone for a while so I am not sure if I should just give up on finishing.

Second, something I have always wondered about the FM games, which one is best, training the day before a match and then resting afterwards, training after but resting the day before, or training both before and after a game with no rest day.

Third, are there any editors out for FM 06? like maybe MCFM 06?

thanks

I don't think FM06 is that much better than 05, to be honest... I only got the game to play with SG United, but I still only got to the second season, and I don't know when I'll pick it up again...

About training, I'll leave it to Ruud or Tom or Max to answer you, I don't really know much about training, especially on FM

and yes, the newest MCFM works with 06

To answer your first question, it's totally your own opinion really. What's certain is that it's alot harder to win games(certainly with big guns like ManUtd or Barca with whom you could win the quadruple in 1 season), it's up to you wheter you like that or not. I personally prefer this years version over FM 2005, I spend more time on FM 2006 than I did on FM 2005.

Second, I've seen many known training schedule makers say that you should rest your players the day after the match. Yet I've also seen results without that.

Finally, yes there's a MCFM for FM 2006 grab it up here

tottally agree with max, it's all about your personal choice, but imo FM06 is better than 05, because it's a lot harder(which gives it more realism) and also because of the obvious things, like improved media coverage and stuff..

well i personally rest my players, and i get good results, but i don't know maybe not resting them is good too maybe because they become more regular..?

about the editor..don't use it(H)

I rest my players, and get lots of injuries still. MCFM isn't in development (currently), you'd be better off using FMM instead.

you have to assign rest to your player manually. for me, i'm too lazy to do that. basically i keep my training workload medium, so it won't screw my player's condition

FMM2.0 is far far better than MCM ever was (and MCFM for that matter).

I keep my training at the top of heavy (next to very heavy lol), i have no problems. Problems with training ususually stem for overload on the training side itself, or by playing your youngsters WAY too much

meh i prefered MCFM purely for the ability to mass-heal a whole team at once.

some players will complain heavy workload but usually i just ignore them :p

btw, i realize few of my players unhappy with their training because i trained them in different position (in fact, i didn't do that). i wonder why they unhappy with that reason since i didn't do that :(
