Yeah, Im schocked by the Dutch database as well. Cor Pot isnt the Dutch youth international. Its also already the 2nd year they have Van Raaij at PSV No Hiddink is extremely stupid. Kuijt has been made waaay to bad. AGAIN.

Is the German NT thing still in btw? That it only selects grey players? Cant check atm, im at another pc...

in response to what Ruud said i do believe SI did even more "SOAK" tests this year to make sure no unrealstic regens appear (e.g. too little regerns, too good regens, too poor regens!).

by the sound of things the Dutch researchers need a kick up the ass.

The LNC folder has both the Dutch and German NTs, and also the Chinese, Japanese, and South Korean NTs on fake. Better remember to delete that folder before starting your first game.

and about the regens... they better start being some in this game with something more than 7-8 in physical skils most of the time

There's a lot wrong with the Dutch section. Not only the competition is wrong, transfers and loans were set to wrong clauses, shared youth teams are missing (Heracles/Twente, AGOVV/Vitesse) so some Vitesse kids are now at AGOVV and some AGOVV ones at Vitesse, board changes just left out completely. Really poor.

There are positives though. The engine is becoming more and more intuitive, as changes you make give responses closer to reality. The trainingsystem is also better to handle.

I wonder how the regens are.

With regards to 'shared youth teams' this isn't supported by the game engine currently but if you'd care to email me details of how they operate we can look into them for the future.

The shirts of Anderlecht( Belgian First League) are wrong.

The black shirt is their HOME shirt this year and the White there AWAY shirt.

I dont think so, Anderlecht always plays in white at home, but I dont know if they make a change this year.

I have an idea about the play-offs. (And they should be implentable, the Mexican league is in, and that is a very difficult system IMO) The play-offs should be implented like they are, but when there are changes in the coeeficients, the league should change to the normal format (like 04/05 season). There could be a message saying something in the lines of: Due to the change of the UEFA coeeficients the KNVB decided to change the league format to blablabla.........

In my current Fm05 game in 2014 I get loads of great regens. A lot of physical great stats. I can name something like 20 worldclass regens (Zidane's, Nesta's etc.)

Just played a game for Feyenoord and got to say that they got a lot of solid regens. I couldnt check their potential but judging by the coaches reports and their current stats you can tell they got future. Although Feyenoord is a "pump out" club so I got to play for other clubs to verify the regens quality.
The only minor bug I noticed so far is that all 10 of my coaches give the same report on the players, and their coaching stats vary greatly. A littl variation would be nice. Amother bug is penlalty shoot out. I just won a cup game 2-0 on penalties!!! I mean c'mon!

Believe me i see very game of Anderlecht and they always play with the Black shirt in competition,only in champions league they change sometimes

2-0 is realistic IMO. Remember, we are still Dutch But anyway, that could happen irl too, why not.

Thought those were regens - the bunch of 16 and 17 year old who dont have a contract? Always thought they were made up names just to fill the U teams but correct me if I am wrong.

Regens appear after a player is retired. The regen is an exact copy of the player who retired (and where he's the regen from) Only his name will be different. So basically regens have the same potential, nationality, position etc.

The stats of the regen will at the start will not be the same as the stats of the retired player. This is because the regen still has to increase his ability. If the regen has the same current ability as the retired player they will look (almost) similar.

Although:

I hear talking about regens very much. There's always very much speculation about who is a regen. I even believed it, but does the regen (from another player) exist in CM4/CM03-04?

I have come to the answer that they don't. How I come to know this is simply to look at (big) players retiring and checking out if there appeared someone with same potential, position, nationality. The 2 players I take in this example are Nedved and Zidane. You should say their regens will be easy to find if they exist. More than 4 years after their retirments as football player there still isn't a player with same potential etc.

An argument to prove their existince would be that you don't get a regen until the manager Zidane or Nedved has retired, but in my game Nedved completly retired from football (He didn't become a coach).

So in my opinion the regen doesn't exist and the ''regens'' just have random potential, position and nationality.

The grey players, they're generic, not regenerated from retired players, but newly formed based on academy ranking and league standard. And you can sign them (own club only) in 2006.

At Vitesse you don't get any, because Vitesse has details for all 7 youth squads on the internet. So no need for grey players. They only use the two top youth squads, u19 and u17, and the places are already filled

Vitesse always has loads of class young players on FM05, well, at the start at least.
