i really can't understand what you guys mean with FM 2007 sucking ass...i mean, there are the obvious CM 01-02, maybe the 03-04..but FM kicks major ass, i'd really like to know what is there so different about FM that makes you guys think like that

PS: Somebody please make a bolded thread when the Face in the Game contest is starting for FM08. I'm determined to get in this time. They shafted my entry for 07, despite the fact that I'm better looking than most of the fatties that were selected.

I don't know, it's just something that FM 2007 lacks, can't quite put my finger on what. Maybe it's because you have to have lots of(too much?) time to be good at this game, I mean with tactics and training and stuff. They made it too difficult IMO

Yeah, and pretty complicated. Each time I wanna start a new game I got to think that I need 3 hours to do some transfers, take care of the tactics, squad, contracts, friendlies and the staff. Takes too much time, I gotta wait for summer for the hardcore mode.

I disagree, not played on FM07 too much due to being at Uni, but i really thinks its a very good game. I think the game engine has far less "silly" results, and the added media interactivity is better. I think it's a very accomplished game, and certainly technically the best so far.

I dont THINK SI have announced if Face in the Game is coming back for FM08, they were considering dropping it in FM07, but decided to bring it back at the last minute. Will be interesting to see if they wheel it out again.

As for the console issue, I would presume SI have SOME form of deal with XBOX, and you're right - expect to see it on the 360 at some point. I'm not sure it will make it to the PS3 though, in MY opinion that is.

Just delete the regen folder. It's the first thing I do after I installed the game...

Turn off player photos - the first thing i do when i start the game.

I also STILL play the game with text commentary, god i really am a CM Old-schooler

I do it 50-50 depending on the game. Some just text, some 2d.
Still the text comm lacks "detail" (game simulates fast with too little info showing on the screen) compared to CM01/02 (and non Cm4 engine versions of the game in general)
Text IS more exciting
