Unfricken believable! great game! and dare I say, the best football game I have ever played, it is faster, way more exciting and just fun as hell to play! The graphics are much better!

This is a definite buy. I was just blown away by this demo! Put this game on "broadcast" camera and you will be in football heaven.

the game is truly awesome, to say the least. it has corrected most (if not all of) the minor issues that FIFA08 had. You should really check out the demo. It's a lot better than PES2008. Period.

Next-Gen games are not only about graphics, it is more about processing and data implementation of the game from the disk to the TV screen. When you play FIFA on next-gen console you can immediately feel how players are much smarter and more human! And even after playing for 6 months now, I can't predict moves as much as I use to do for the PC version. Next-Gen consoles are made for that propose. :)

A PC can definitely run high performance games, but having an Multi-use OS (OSX, Linux or even VISTA) makes the process nearly impossible to happen, and that is why I doubt that we will see the quality of next-gen games on PC's anytime soon; having said that, I have very high hopes for the new engines such as the CryENGINE 2 and the Unreal engine.

To conclude, the footage that you have seen from the trailer is strictly next-gen and is not available for PC in that exact quality; it is hard to happen and will not happen anytime soon.

Enjoy your day! :)

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Sorry for dragging this thread off-course and responding to such a dated post but are you saying that a PC is not capable of running games up to a console's standard? "I doubt we will see the quality of next-gen games on PC's anytime soon." I've read your post a good 5 times and I have to say that you're completely wrong. For instance, look at Call of Duty 4, a game released on both the consoles and the PC. While the console version is limited to 1080p maximum and a steady 60fps (which is very good, don't get me wrong), the PC version can be run at much higher resolutions with framerates exceeding those of the console version. Of course it takes a decent computer to run these kinds of games, but don't let the consoles fool you - they are really not that powerful. You can look at the specs for a PS3 or Xbox 360 and be amazed, but do some research and you'll see that these machines are really sub-par compared to decent gaming PCs. The only reason PC games such as FIFA and the NBA Live series aren't as good on the PC as they are on the consoles is that the developers don't put much time/effort into the PC versions. They simply release a PC version they deem playable so that it'll sell. If game developers cared as much about the PC audience as they do about the console audience, we would be seeing far superior sports games on the PC. Although the 360's and PS3's offer game developers a fantastic platform to develop popular games on, the PC will always be the superior machine in terms of potential. If I sound unreasonable, trust me - I'm not. Think of it this way: A PS3 or 360 will stagnate on the market with the exact same specifications and hardware for several years while PC's are constantly upgraded. In the time that a 360 has been on the market, a new line of video cards or faster RAM have been also put on the market for PC's.

Haha, sorry for my extended rant, it's just that when I see someone who is a bit confused regarding the differences between PC's and consoles, it sets me off.

So I finally got my grubby paws on the PS3 Euro 2008 demo...
After the first two minute game I was in love. The gameplay is brilliant, way better than Fifa 08 (which I thought was good) so I will definately be buying this when its released. I used to be a PES fan until the last 'offering', which I thought was lazy and felt unfinished. Im sure Euro 2008 will keep me happy - now if if the gameplay stays like this for Fifa 2009 I will be like a pig in ****. EA and the FIFA series has done a great job reinventing a tired franchise...roll on FIFA 09!!
