FIP14 v5 Request thread

Hey,

I am going to cut straight to the chase. This thread is for suggestions for FIP14 v5. If you want to talk about v4 please post in that thread.

As I mentioned in my last post as of now I am looking for a new job that takes priority over everything. So I won't be as active on the forum and will open up the official v5 thread when I am ready to release.

I am also making a few other changes to the way I work going forward. This year I am not working on extra features behind the scenes. I love trying to add new things that have never been done, but honestly, I just want to play the mod. I also want to add the content that didn't get added to v3 & v4. People worked really hard on this stuff and I am not happy that I didn't include it.

This means I am specifically working on teams and leagues and ensuring they work in Career mode & Tournament mode with as few errors as I can possibly manage.

It's also a special year as it's the last year of EA's FIFA series and I'll be honest if I cannot find a way to get these mods out faster it'll be my last.

So here are some things that I would love to do this year:

• FIFA World Cup 22 Tournament Mode mod - 100% will be released
• England 6 Division Career mode expansion (see image) - 40% chance
• UEFA Nations League Tournament Mode mod - 10% chance

What are your suggestions/requests?

My main suggestion would be to add the CONMEBOL leagues, sudamericana,recopa etc as the files are readily available and are licensed in FIFA series as well
so next time if possible i request you to add the CONMEBOL DLC please ,

Maybe some career mode tweaks? Some things are really weird. Simulations during the career modes are horrible. Home advantage is huge, the scores are mainly almost the same (average scores like 2-1, 1-1, 1-0), no diversity in scores, big scores, etc and the leaderboards are almost the same, no "dark horses" like in real life, nothing, plus always the same teams fight for title and ucl, no diversity at all. Regarding players, how could a top player like Haaland or Mbappe finish with max 20-25 goals in a season which has 50-55 games? This is also unrealistic af. Also, as we are progressing in the carrier, teams are getting older and older, few new young players (or none), few transfers are made after few seasons, and the chances of overgrowth are very low (only thing that helps here is the loan glitch). Youth team brings some good players with high potential, but it seems that only I and the team I am managing has got something like this XD. Where are the regens? I barely find such thing anymore, everything gets older, after 10 season of career most teams have all their players 26-27+ years old, just too few young players are coming. Squad rotations are also rare in all simulations (idk if this is editable). Price tags are sometimes unrealistic, there is low competition on the transfer market, italian players feel homesick and end up leaving Italy for Russia or Brazil wtf, youth players names are always weird (contains their full names, when mainly brazilians are known for always using nicknames or they first name for recognition), player emotions are also quite ignored (probably EA vanilla and nothing editable but still worth mentioning), big teams never or rarely try to buy a 65 rated - has potential to be special - player, which would be exactly the opposite irl, also when managing in the West of europe, only teams in the west are active on the transfer market, and same thing applies for all the other reagions (i know this sounds weird or funny but it is true, i tested it) and in the end, i hate those damn 2013 news pics in 2022. There might be more things to say but this message is already too long so i will stop. Thanks Harry for this awesome patch and good luck in the future.

hello great harry congratulations and best wishes for your new job. remember to solve that problem of the club world cup, the winner of the libertadores in November has to play the world club championship after a month not after a year. sorry for the inconvenience but it is very important for those who make a career in south america. This is great. This is exactly the sort of stuff I want to improve. I haven't modified Career mode in this way for a couple of releases now. This is a mod in itself and will take a considerable amount of time to test, but yes, I'd like to look at all of this.

if possible you could add more national teams

I suggest add more lower leagues, example German Regionalliga, or 2nd netherland division, or 2nd Portugal league....etc.... and i ´m complete agree with @Gamer_KR1925 about Conmebol leagues and tournaments....
Finally, let me give you a tremendous thankfully for your great work keeping Fifa14 still alive.

Here are my suggestions:
- Make it possible to do 5 substitutions (if it is possible)
- Put different goal net colours eg. Monchengladbach, Bremen, Stuttgart etc
- Make new scoreboards eg. bundesliga, jupiler pro league, ligue 2, efl championship
