to be honest, if you can afford it and you keep winning, i'll pay playeres whatever they want. Finances is all about what you can and can't afford, simple.

If im making a £15m profit every year with Barcelona and i'm £300k/perweek underneath my budget, why not pay a player £120k to keep him happy and to keep us winning?

Now then, giving someone £120k at a club that blatantly cant afford it, that's stupidity.

One thing i always try to do is try to cut the wage bill down, sometimes after offering clauses in a new contract offer the players will take a wage cut.
