It exists every year like this because the EA developers don't include the CPU boost coding in the demo. The CPU coding has several levels of difficulty, from superhuman to stupid. In the demo it's always on normal balanced game play, there are no boost changes that take place.
So this isn't something we're ever able to isolate and "rewrite" in the final game code?
Fidel fixes it via his mods and Paul has ini fixes. I just adjust sliders until it nullifies the cheats as best as possible because I honestly have never come across a fix that works 100%. Some of Paul's codes can kill the cheat boost effectiveness for sure, so IMO that's the best place to start if you're interested in finding a solution.

I really can't play FIFA without Fidel's immersion cam mod. I only use CheatEngine because I just found Frosty tools to be too much of a hassle, they always stopped working with every update when I used them with FIFA 17. Hopefully Fidel will make a FIFA 20 immersion cam mod for CheatEngine, if he does I will buy FIFA 20 I think.
