Ok, guys, if you have lags I think that this might help you. Its for NVIDIA users. I had lags, and after Pradeep share with us his solution, lags were significantly decreased, but there were still here. Now, I played 4 matches so far and had not a single lag at all. I have NVIDIA 9800GT 1 GB.

Here is what worked for me:
Go to NVIDIA Control Panel, in "Manage 3D settings" go on tab "Program settings".
In "1. Select program for customize" you should find you FIFA 12 Demo (In mine it writes FIFA soccer 11, don't know why, it is FIFA 12 Demo, but it writes like that, so it might be case for you, even though I don't have FIFA 11 installed)
Scroll to the bottom end, and in "Vertical sync" choose "Force on".

My setting are:
1440x900
Rendering Quality - High
MSAAOptions - OFF
Wait For Vsync - ON

I have steady 60 FPS, even on cinematics. Just hope it will endure... that lags won't be back.
And I hope it will work for you, guys! Try it!

EDIT:
Also, you must use 3Doverrider, it's a RivaTuner tool. In 3Doverrider "Force triple buffering" and "Force vsync" must be ON.

So , i ve got an ati 6370m card (laptop)

I can run fifa 11 in high settings, but here in fifa 12 , there are lags..i donnt have nvidia just like Waldo1639 , i saved fifasetup.ini file in fifa 12 folder in documents with SCREEN_SLEEP = 16 and things are better..

what else can i do? should i try to install the tweaker above?heard that has crashes...

For ATI enable "Forced AA" on AMD Vision Engine and use 3Doverrider. In 3Doverrider "Force triple buffering" and "Force vsync" must be ON. Try it.

EDIT:
3Doverrider must not be closed, just minimized, in order to work.

Fidel,please make the first patch for fifa12 demo of full version and change that stupid defending system,because i have to press 3 or 4 buttons to take the ball from the cpu.Sprint button,second teammate control and pass or shot to take the ball.I am not an octopus.Where the hell EA saw football played like that,running after the ball like crazy without jostling and fighting for the ball like fifa 11?You are italian and you know how football is played in Italy,tactical defending is not like that.If Milan was defending like that against Barcelona they lost big time.This defending system brings down this game because everything else is much better than fifa 11.Thanks for replying for keyboard settings.Have a nice day,and keep up the good work.

Just change the control from 'tactical defending' to 'clinical' or something, it'll give you that stupid FIFA11 feeling again. Or go play PES, if the game of football is too hard for you.
