Are there still too many cards?

Greater values = less strict
Smaller values = more strict

The game's default values are
RULES_PUSHPULL_MIN_COE_STRICTNESS = 2
RULES_PUSHPULL_MAX_COE_STRICTNESS = 5

we have no idea what the default values are, they are encrypted.
unless you are some type of super coder who has cracked ea's encryption.

Do you want fewer fouls or fewer cards, or fewer of both?

i would like to have fouls called more frequently but cards should not be awarded for every foul.
presently every push,even a light one leads to a yellow.
To get yellow carded for such light contact that would not be even deemed as a foul in real football is very unrealistic.
Strong pushs,persistent shirt pulling in box are surely fouls,and some of those may even deserve a card.But just not every contact,every foul requires a yellow..

for me,increasing the RULES_PUSHPULL_MIN_COE_STRICTNESS value more than -0.05 almost removes fouls on ANY push or pull.This whole push pull feature gets disabled..
Next i tried -0.07 value and now ref started giving silly fouls and cards for 99.5% physical contact fouls.
Is there not any moderate or medium strictness value so that little strong pushs result in simple foul and too strong and fierce ones get yellows or reds??
I really like this push pull foul feature but isnt there a way to implement it in a moderate strictness level as in real football,strong pushs,shirt pulling in box do result in fouls and penalties.Sadly,earlier Such fouls were non existent in fifa 12.Now when we have this,its just too extremely implemented.

ya,the dramatic increase in no. of fouls is a great and positive change.But the cards accompanying these fouls is not a positive change.For 10 to 15 fouls,i get cards for 8+ to 12+ fouls.If you just tweak the issue of card for a little more stronger physical play,then it will be amazing.
Just wanted to thank you fidel for this patch.The way ai attacks is just mind blowing.Xavi plays amazing passes,ai's setpieces(fks specially) now pose a danger,ai defending is also more aggresive.
Weaker teams do not pass that well which is realistic.But barca's passing is amazing.Ai has become very clever..Through balls and long balls have become more prominent.
I am so grateful to You and RegularCat.We all enjoy gameplays which are just a dream that can never be fulfilled by ea sports.

How to adjust/customize cpu opponent squad (cpu starting 11 and reserves) on tournament mode?

the tips don't work @ first torunament creation.
save tournament and quit.
re-load tournament, select cpu controller side, make accurate cpu squad.
back, back, change controller side to your team.

this is an easy way.

I agree Aditilak, the cards accompanying the fouls isn't realistic. Also, only very physical shirt-tugging fouls should be called as yellows or reds. The only problem is that the cpu doesn't play physical enough in my opinion. I think that increasing the aggressiveness and marking of the cpu, and decreasing its tackling ability and defensive line width can create more fouls.
The game would be more resigned to the middle of the pitch, giving you and the cpu less time to react. More bad passes and tackles would happen.
To sum it all up, I think more bad tackles should be called as fouls; vicious shirt-tugging merits cards.

I am going to try new values later today. I'll keep you posted.

P.S. To Fidel: Your gameplay is just amazing. Thank you for doing what EA couldn't do.(Y)
