FIFA season mode question

This is probably FIFA trivia now, but I thought somebody on here must surely know.

Which FIFA was it that allowed you to play along with a real season of the Premier League actually following along match by match with your team of choice? You'd even get that day's squad and then it would track your progress in comparison to how your team was doing in real life. Which FIFA was this?! I'm losing my mind trying to remember. And where did this game mode go?

Finally after weeks of digging around (not every day or anything, but I did do a lot of searching) I finally found information on my favourite FIFA mode of all time that I had asked about in several places and never found. It was called Live Seasons, it was in FIFA 09.

You'd pick one league for free with others costing a few bucks and throughout the season, you'd play every match as you would now in tournament mode but the game would compare your result to what had happened in real life. You'd get the same squads each week, and you'd get to see after your game how many other people online also won or lost. Through the season a graph would chart how you were doing in comparison to your real life team. I don't think I've ever loved a feature in a sports game more than that. There were all sorts of real time connectivitiy things like that 10 years ago. Shame we don't have this anymore.

The only thing now is that you can play with players' ratings updated live in an friendly match, I think. But nothing connected on the scale of Live Seasons, right?
