Did you make any edits or add other mods? What teams are playing in the problem match?

The only edit i made was SpecificFaceType, nothing else. The problem start right after preseason tournament, it crashed after i proceed the calendar to the first match of the season. Any team have the same issue.

Quick update:

Apologises for the long silence. After the release of V6.1, I needed a break.

V6.2 is entering the final stages of development. This version will include squad updates for the 6 leagues not updated this season. V6.2 is also expected to include a record 11 new leagues!




The error is most likely because a file could not be overwritten. This could be because one or more files are locked or set as read only.

You could also try manually installing the version by copying the files from "FIFA 16\fip\version\<version name\" to the "FIFA 16" root folder.




There are instructions in the RM16 documentation.




Where specifically does it crash?




The winner of the Carabao Cup should qualify to the UEFA ECL. Which version of the patch are you using?




specificball_0_62_1.rx3 if for a winter ball and would only be used in winter months. Use specificball_0_62_0.rx3 for general use. This ball will be included in V6.2.




There is a 92 team limit for cups so I could not expand it to include the National League teams.

This edited version of Creation Master 16 V2.0 adds some new features and fixes some issues. Features Beta 2 -Set face type for all players based on user’s collection via menu function.

I would recommend using the original FIFA 16 DB when make your profile and initialize settings.




Not sure about V6.1 but it would not be possible to include all UEFA leagues in V6.2 into a single version which would work in career mode, even if the non UEFA leagues where removed.

Use the .NAV files from the original theme to see the stadium instead of the background.




-Exit EA App.
-Rename "FIFA 16" folder.
-Open EA App.
-Download clean FIFA 16.




The CM16 edit should work. If you are playing a career or tournament or have an active squads file, the game will use the players table from that rather than the DB.

5 of the new leagues are UEFA (2 top divisions, 3 lower divisions) and there are 2 new leagues each for CONMEBOL, AFC and CAF.

It seems the problem is too many matches taking place at the same date and time in the league's custom schedule. I have modified this and the issue seems to be resolved. The fix will be in the next version.

This version requires FIFA Infinity Patch V6.0 and V6.1 to be installed prior to installing this version.

The V6.2 database and tournaments will not be installed by default to avoid breaking active career and tournament mode saves. Use FIP Version Manager to install the updates.

If you wish to customize available career mode tournaments using FIP Tournament Manager, you must do so before starting a new career.

When starting a new career, the "European Competition in 1st Season?" which allows you to choose UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League groups is no longer effective and should be avoided. In your first season, these competitions will start with qualifying rounds like all subsequent seasons. This change was necessary to allow the UEFA Europa League restructure and to allow the UEFA Europa Conference League to be added to the UEFA versions.

Like previous years, I have no intention of making and sharing a DB with the latest transfers during the next few months. I will wait for the EASFC (formerly FIFA) 24 DB for this.

A record 11 new leagues where added to this version! In total, there are now 45 leagues not in FIFA 23 in the patch! All 10 CONMEBOL top divisions are now in the patch. Please note that many of the new leagues in this version use older kits converted from PES. This is because it is quicker to convert them than making the current ones from scratch. Without this strategy, there would have been significantly less new leagues in this version.

The new UEFA C version was added because the UEFA B version could not be expanded further with additional UEFA lower leagues. The AFC-CAF version was split into individual versions because it could also not be expanded further.

There is a file called "League List.txt" included which lists which leagues are in each version.

Finally, a big thanks to everyone who worked on this season's patch!

Not sure, the relevant limitation is formations. Formation IDs over 899 cause some problems when the teams using them are played in career mode. I do allocate them to ROW teams though as they are not playable in career mode.

I am curious if a version with just all UEFA top division leagues would be possible, should they be made of course.

This was fixed in the language update file, but empty versions of these files where added to the patch so only the language DB files would be used. I identified the problem strings and fixed them. Thanks for reporting this issue.

The only other language DB which had a similar issue was the Chinese one, that has also been fixed.
