FIFA Converter (Models & Textures)

mission Convert to FIFA 11 haircolour
[source]: haircolour DXT5, blonde hair
Tool sequence:Textures -> Export -> Export dds (with remove alpha ticked)
"remove alpha" is only for png export
Import -> FIFA 11 rx3 template -> Import dss (with Update textures format)
new haircolour DXT1 file (checked with Filemanager 11)
you tried import DXT5, but it is dxt1 after import ?

Import to game by copy to Games dir\Game\data\sceneassets\hair
but ingame the haircolour still totally black.

I don't understand what I missed? somebody can help>.

FIFA 11 supports both DXT1 & DXT5 for haircolour files :
original game is always DXT1

for a rx3 texture-file there is always an internal (hex) name :
for FIFA 11 haircolour files, this name should have the id of hair (playerid or generic hairtypeid)
-> if this "internal (hex) name" has the wrong (player) id, u ll get black texture bug ingame , yes !

so,
the tool should fix the "internal (hex) name" automaticly
but, it gets the id from the file-name (dds file) !
-> make sure the haircolour dds filename is correctly, containing the correct player-id !

if you want go from newer FIFA 12-21 to FIFA 11 hair textures :
recomended to use the option : FIFA 11 > hair > split rx3

I understood! the problem is not about the texture format DXT or alpha chanel, it's about the file name, honestly I even did not try to import by CM, I changed the file name manually and copy directly to game dir so the "internal (hex) name" still got the old ID.

to add for the future,
because i was wrong about my tool :
import wont solve indeed,
what u need is : FIFA 11 > hair > "HairColours - Write Hairtype-id"
or CM11
yes ;)


for now,
because i improved (fixed) it for next tool version :
at import png/dds, it will be automatic correct "internal (hex) name"

you r not the first one with this problem... :)

I converted from "FO2B unpacked Bigs 170429" (new impact engine) to FIFA 11
[FO3 new engine -> FF11] models converter option with move/scale ticked.
that's great after I realized the head_model seem to be a bit higher or something wrong.

"UEFA Champions League 2006–2007" (similar to FIFA 07 formats)

2. Fix Model Convert FIFA 16​

Fix for the bugged "square" face-textures,
when you convert to FIFA 16 format

Improvements for head model animations, like mouth & neck :
* corrections in bone-conversions
* correcting in double bones (at a vertex)

examples:
* from FIFA online 4 <> ANY
* FIFA 14 <> FIFA 15/16
* ...


4. Automatic NeckType Changes​

New: when converting a head model, the tool will now change the neck type (if needed & if supported)

example:
when converting from "FIFA 21 switch" (wide neck type) to "FIFA 14" (smaller necktype)

Use the new option "Fix: NeckType [Heads]" to change the necktype :



5. New Tab: Color​

a new tab have been added :
OTHER > Color

it has some editing options for png files, wich are usefull for hair textures !

* Remove a RGBA Channel
Set a RGB channel to 0 (remove channel)
or Alpha to 255 (no transparancy)

* Set Alpha Channel
Change transparancy level

these are options for hair & shoe rx3 texture file(s) :

examples :
* Combine hair textures, 2 rx3 FIFA 11 format to 1 rx3 FIFA 14 format
