i ll give here an overview of the differences between textures of different games,
because this is what the coloring option edits
1. Hair textures
- Type 1
* Games: FIFA 11 or older
* Coeff texture: Shininess map (as green)
* Color texture: no alpha
- Type 2
* Games: FIFA 12 to 15
* Coeff texture
* Color texture: Shininess map (as alpha)
- Type 3
* Games: FIFA 16, FIFA 17-19 console, FIFA online 4
* Coeff texture: Green full (~100%)
* Color texture: Shininess map (as alpha)
- Type 4
* Games: FIFA 18-23 Switch
* Coeff texture: Green full (~100%), Alpha (~50%)
* Color texture: Shininess map (as alpha)
- Type 5
* Games: FIFA 17-24 pc (FB engine) (dds files)
* Coeff texture: Green/blue swapped, Blue full (~100%), Alpha (~50%)
* Color texture: Shininess map (as alpha)
2. Ball Textures
- Type 1
* Games: FIFA 14 or older
* Coeff texture: No coeff texture present
* Normal texture: Shininess map (as alpha)
* Color texture
- Type 2
* Games: FIFA 15/16
* Coeff texture: Shininess map (as green) , Alpha
* Normal texture
* Color texture
- Type 3
* Games: FIFA 17-23 pc/switch
* Coeff texture: Shininess map (as green) , No Alpha

* Ambient texture: may exist

* Games: FIFA online 4 (new)
