Teams win championships, not players. The Ballon d'Or as it is supposed to be should go to the best individual. And in the case Ronaldo and Messi play on their level no one else should win. Maybe Götze or Neymar in the near future but at the moment: Ronaldo, Messi >> all.

But journalists are voting so they will take a look to what players won and of course they dislike Ronaldo and they won't vote him. That's why Messi won in 2010 and Ribery will win in 2013 to crown an awesome season with Bayern.

It's a great point though. Lahm is better at his position than Ronaldo is at his, and when Bayern plays Real Madrid they go directly against each other and Lahm always wins. So who is really better?

Fifa extended voting time, it may increase Ronaldo chance. Nothing against him, but he didn't win anything last year, I really want a Bayern player to win this award ...

Ronaldo should get the trophy and the voting time extended is an advantage for him, although he should have won it without the Sweden double-leg anyway.
