Scored 10 goals and offered 15 assists against Mainz and Nurnberg in Bundesliga?! He isn't a superstar, never been one, had a good 12/13 season, but for me, nothing more than that. He isn't even a crucial player for Bayern, I consider Scheinsteiger or Muller at the same lavel with him. Why do most of you think that Messi doesn't have chances to win the Ballon d'Or again? Man, he scored 64 GOALS last season, 46 just in Primera, again the best goalscorer in the world, almost double than RVP and Ibrahimovic. I agree even with this stats that Messi wasn't in his best form last season, and in my opinion, Cristiano should finally fulfilled his dream : beat Messi, and the stats of them are pretty the same (62 goals for the Portuguese), but he continue to show an amazing form.

I know the same, but it seems that de Ballon d'Or will be given to a good, but not world class player from the best team of the season. Ronaldo, finally deserve the Golden Ball this year. He helped his team much more than Ribery did for Bayern last year and keeps the "los blancos" high in La Liga.
