Fifa 2006 match quitting problem

I have a problem with my Fifa 2006... Whenever I end the match and click Quit to main menu the game freezes up... I googled for any info on this problem and actually found a solution for it... All you had to do was to transfer chants.big from your data folder to your audio folder... The problem is, chants.big was in the audio folder in the first place... But the game still freezes up... Any solutions for my problem? Please help...

BTW. I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but I have installed the first official patch... ;)

Hi, there is no way of helping you unless you can provide detailed specs or your pc.

Processor? Are your chipset drivers current?
Graphics card(s)? Which Driver are you using?
Sound card? Drivers?
Power Supply ratings? Total Watts? Amps on +3.5v, +5v, and +12v?

Have you modified the game?

I have installed the official EA patch. Hope you can help me now... :)

Hi,

If it were me, I would try an older driver for your graphics card. Your card is a bit old and the newer drivers my have reduced support for it. If you don't want to go too far back, you can try the 66.93 driver.
