About Football in America :
You think its bad in the U.S -> try Canada .. we dont even have a pro league!! Its bad when they delay airing the Euro 2004 games so that they can show the U.S open of (shudder) Golf... And considering cities like Toronto and Vancouver where a huge majority of residents are from europe, SA and asia, you'd think those pencil pushers in broadcast would realize theres a big audience.

About music:
I think the Fifa 2004 soundtrack had good variety.. they should keep with the world music feel..

Its truly is funny here because me and a fellow Portuguese friend here were following the Euro 2004 games over in Portugal and people here at our job were like "Whats Euro, What is that?" lol and we would say its the European Championship games. Now you all have to think about this, America has many many many sports, American Football, Baseball, Basketball, Hockey, Raceing, Horse races, etc.... the Rest of the world have Football / Soccer whatever you wanna call it. To me its getting bigger here but not big enough to blow out basketball and US Football, as if someone went to europe they have the NFL Europe, noone will proably talka bout because its not that huge. So its not "fair" to bash america just because one sport isnt so popular, even though it is a world wide sport.

Now for the music..... Add Hip Hop, why complain about you not liking it, the game isnt made for just YOU the game is made for everyone, and EA does give you the option to turn it off, which of course is a great feature. I like what they had in '04, give me some Rock, some techno, some hip hop etc.. from all over the world just like they did in '04 IMO when I think of music for a football/soccer game I think of fast beats techno type music with a tad of rock into it. Exactly how the past fifa's were. But if they really want to add more music add hiphop for those who like it, add rock, add freestyle, add techno, add as much as possible but I wouldnt make it high priority. Again for most of you, dont say "I dont like this nor that" when at the same time you want variety, its stupid. Let them add whatever they want and heck like I said if you dont like it tough and just turn it off. they give you the ability so stop being lazy and just spend the extra 2min and turn them off plain and simple... Stop crying and play the game not listen to the music...

i wish they would just put soccer music on it, like ole, some of the themes that are used in the nike/adidas commercials, something that just gives you the feeling

Why not just have lots of variety, and then you can take off what you hate with EA Trax...

Personally, I reccomend The Hives, Jadakiss, Jay-Z, The White Stripes, The Pixies, and The Ying Yang Twinz. However, I realize that EA may not be able to sign all these artists...

If you listen to these tracks you may be able to appreciate world music instead of that mainstream money hungry BS you guys listen to. Good music come from all places not just Top 40 charts.
