FIFA 2005 Shop

Here's a question for all of you. Maybe someone here can shed some light on this for me.

In the FIFA 2005 Shop, I've purchased a number of 3rd kits and the "Puma Ball: Veneno (Italy)". Selecting the 3rd kits works fine, the other ball I've still never seen. I never actually see this ball when I'm playing. I'm in the middle of a Serie A tournament playing Inter but every match always has the normal default ball.

Am I wrong in assuming that this particular ball is intended for the Italian leagues/teams (despite EA's description of it)?

Are the purchaseable balls only good during "Play Now" matches and not in tourneys?

Overall I love this game, but there are just a few little things that tick me off. This is one of them. We can buy extra balls but they really dont give us any clue as to when we can and can't use them. Would it really have been so hard to put in an option to select a ball, just like you can with the kits??

To see the Puma ball, play with a team sponsored by Puma, to see the Umbro ball, play with a team sponsored by Umbro.

Thanks guys. I'll have to check that out later on today when I'm near my PS2.

I guess it does make perfect sense, I was thrown off by EA's including "Italy" with the description of the ball.
