They make the demos with teams that everybody knows so they can have a great merchandising, anyway like i said Porto was European Champion and with USA games people got to know better our team.

They make the demo in one of the teams of the demo stadium. Last year was in Delle Alpi cause of Juventus.

I suspect there will be different versions of demos like EURO, one to suit each of the major "markets". So I expect there will be one featuring MLS teams (or Mexican teams) for the North American market, probably one with Italian teams etc...
