FIFA 2003: Which platform?

I'm still undecided on which platform to get FIFA 2003. It is between the PC and the Xbox. On one hand, there is the PC version which will allow networked multiplayer. On the other hand, there is the Xbox version which will offer a richer control experience since it is a console (not to mention Nick Clubman's endorsement of the Xbox version).

Somehow I expect that I will break down and buy it for both PC and Xbox. My coworkers and I have had too much fun setting up ad hoc FIFA leagues over the network to not get the PC edition, especially now that it natively supports multiplayer league play.

However, I'm finding more and more that console gaming also suits me (I used to play nothing but PC games) and with FIFA 2003, I finally feel like there is something better than MLS ExtraTime on the Xbox. I'll probably rent it first and if it is as amazing as Nick Clubman says, I'll probably buy it too.

PC FOR SURE... cuz u can download patches of all kinds, and it is more flexible

Officially? I don't think so, but it seems that some folks have been able to get their hands on some early copies. Maybe I'm just confused too. EA's site does show the PC version shipping sometime in October though.

my PC video card isn't too strong. so i'l be picking up the gc version.
