FIFA 2002 on a P4 2.4

Ok, first of all, yes, I know you can't play FIFA 2002 on anything over a P4 2.0, EA told me this themselves (lazy bastards), however, in this realm of infinite knowledge, does any of you know ways of making this happen? Perhaps a user-made patch or an option in the BIOS, etc. etc.

I really like FIFA 2002, and I've detested every FIFA game since (except WC2002), it would be a shame if I could not play this game no longer...

FYI, my PC is a P4 2.4, 256 DDR RAM and an Intel D845PESV motherboard.

oh, one more thing, does this limitation only apply to Intel boards? Are AMD boards exempt from this problem?
