Fifa 19 Turf too smooth from a higher cam

Hey guys I have 3d grass alright but still have noticed the fifa 19 turf is too smooth from a higher cam like co-op... Fifa 18, 17,16's grass looked visible from far but somehow Fifa 19 on pc looks awkwardly smooth I play at 1920x1080 with full sharpness on my tv...The grass on the ps4 version of fifa 19 looks better and shiny too on the same cam and resolution... any fix? Or do I need to use filters?

I noticed that no one responded to your question. So you have the game for ps4 and pc, you play both on the same 1080p screen (hdtv?), and you find that the grass on co-op cam looks untextured on pc but not ps4.... right? What GPU do you have? Remember that on a PC, there is often a system level color profile, which could explain some difference.

If you have a lower tier GPU, have you installed Fidel’s grass fix (I think you said you had). How about his LOD multiplier?

Can you take a screenshot on ps4 and pc... I’m quite curious about this now

Try to force Anisotropic filtering to 16x via GPU driver.

But first show a screenshot, I am interested in seeing this too.

I am 4k with setting maxed and the grass looks vvg. I use the LOD cam mod to squeeze i bit more from the graphics. On pc at 4k the graphics are truly magnificent. On the ps4 pro with forced 4K the graphics look dreadful and flat by comparison.

Never will console gaming be better then pc and especially if one has a top pc.
That is true about all games, not just fifa even more so given the fact that pc users have all kind of tools to increase details.
I do have an xbox one but the graphics are well behind the pc, with a 1080 ti graphic card, on 2k resolution

Absolutely right. I also have the 1080ti. its a fabulous card
I will say that red dead 2 on the xbox one x at 4K looks phenomenal. Its a massive achievement for a console and puts many games on pc(just cause 4) to shame.

I have chosen a 2k monitor but with 144 hz. You will not believe the difference between 60 and 144 hz on all games not just fifa. I have to say that my tv is 4k but I play on the monitor because it is much better on 2k 144 hz than 4k 60 hz. Everything moves a lot more smoother and the gpu is fantastic.
As for resolution alone, the human eye cannot really tell the difference between 2k and 4k on a monitor up to 32 inches, so much better 2k 144hz.

i couldnt play on a tiny screen ever again. And as for refresh rates. The human eye cant see anything above an absolute maximum 110hz. So anything above 110 is totally invisible to the humanMy 65 inch sony also injects hdr so you get a lovely deep rich image.
I also wont use keyboard and mouse for gaming. I like to use a gamepad, have a very comfy chair and footstool and have to home theatre cranked up. I cant imagine sitting perched up on a high chair at a desk with my nose pressed against the screen. I used to do that many years ago with my gaming pc. never again. I have the ps4 pro (sony exclusives)and xbox one x(rdr2 only) that rarely get used. games like uncharted are outstanding tho. I am not a pc snob and can see that consoles have much to offer and are very good value.
its horses for courses. some prefer to game on little screen and others like a massive screen.
In my gaming room i would need a telescope to see a 32inch screen.
In the end its all about choice isn't it.

Who has the gear, has the choices indeed. It just comes down to that.
It is like immersion atmosphere in fifa, each one of us has different ideas about what this means. Some want first stadiums, kits, boots and others fluid , hard gameplay, new mods.
Indeed it is about choices.
