The Community Patch is FINALLY here.

It's huge so please note you will need a staggering 45GB of free space to install. Initial download is 11.5GB.

Sorry for the massive delay on releasing this. Unfortunately the harddrive I had FIFA 14 on became corrupt. I lost everything. So I gave up. I found some new spare time and I have now managed to rebuild the patch from scratch.

I've spent a lot of time over the last 6 months rebuilding this patch and I'm now suffering from modders fatigue I no longer have time and do not want to spend any more time modding FIFA 14. This will be my one and only release. I just want to play the game and enjoy it.

This patch is called the 'Community Patch' as I have used various UGC and do not wish to claim ownership of the content.**

This is for seasons 17/18 with some updates for the 18/19 Season
The Premier League have updated 18/19 squads, but 18/19 season signings will be on loan at their 17/18 club etc. Squads have also been trimmed to 42 players.

I also did this for Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, AC Milan, Juventus, Inter, Bayern Munich, Dortmund & PSG.

The databases are created from scratch using my own copies of F18, F17, F16, F15 and F14.

UNIQUE TO THIS PATCH:

Presentation:

• New theme: (Modified by HarryBullZak)
• Custom entrance graphic mods for all tournaments
• 4,000+ player faces
• 30,000+ mini face updates

Database:

• Player stats have been adjusted so they will not drop in Career Mode
• ALL Teams, Players and Leagues from FIFA 18 from 10th May 2018 EA squad update*
• Contracts updated for most players up to 23rd September 2018
• Expanded commentary names (Longer list of commentary names to choose from)
• UPDATED new teams from MWM patch with official EA ID's
• Increased gameplay difficulty (to remove delete file FIFA 14/Game/rma.ini and regenerate)

Kits:

• Premier League teams will have multiple season kits available for selection, including NEW 18/19 season, 17/18, 16/17, 15/16 seasons. Helps to keep Career mode 'fresh'.
• ALL other teams from original FIFA 14 will have season 13/14 available to select as well as 17/18 kits
• Updated kit overlays

Boots

• New generic model boots - Nike, Puma, Adidas & Umbro
• Players with potential 75+ will wear different boots when playing in the World Cup, Champions League & Europa League

Career mode:

• Patch is built around the Career Mode
• Career mode stories rewritten (English only)
• Player retirement improved
• Player growth improved
• Transfer fees - Adjusted to current market, with length of contract, age, potential etc playing a major part in the value (Example in screens)
• Wages - Huge hike in top players wage demands
• Prize money updated for all competitions
• Easier to sell fringe players
• F18 Transfer budgets
• Updated match day presentation

Legends & Icons:

• These are scattered around the teams so you'll have to scout to find them
• Ages will range from 17-20
• Overall for each player has been adjusted to match players in their age range I.e. 50-70 ish
• Potentials will match their previous FIFA games maximum overall/potential
• Not all legends are world stars, some serious hidden talents can be found
• I think there are about 200+ 'hidden' legends

OTHER FEATURES:

• Classic XI added to Rest of World
• ADDED teams from Moddingway patch 19.0.0: Brasileiro, Chinese Super League, Europa League, Champions League, South American teams.
• Everything unlocked

NOTE: Editing this patch using CM14/15 may reduce the stability of this patch. For the best experience just play the game as is. Also it will alter two very important files.

• Database - players will lose some of their 'trait2' abilities such as Technical Dribbler. Not to be confused with Technical Dribbler in CM14/15. That trait is actually Speed Dribbler. Backup the 'players'txt' file to save the attributes and apply later using DB Master.
• DLC - Back this up before editing in CM14/15. In particular 'settings.txt'. This contains the special teams information which is far larger than the 8 team limit CM14/15 creates. The game will randomly crash if there are faults in these files.

* 3. Liga, J1 League, K League, Saudi Professional League, Rest of Europe, Rest of America are not available to play in Career mode by default. These will have to be swapped either in game or via CM 15. These teams players can be searched and bought in Career mode. Excludes Women's International.

** CREDITS: As I have gathered a lot of the files used in the patch for a number of years I may not be able to credit every single person. I do apologise for that, this is not an attempt to steal anyone's work and pass it as my own. I'm sharing it for free so absolutely no intention of ripping anyone off.

CRASH FIX (optional) - It appears that the additional kits for EPL teams causes crashes for some PC users. If you are running i5, 8GB RAM or less download this version of the database. This version removes the additional kits.

DETAILED INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

These walk through instructions where put together using the download links I've posted here. If you are having problems after following these instructions I don't know what else to tell you. You're doing something wrong.

Step 1
Open with WinRAR


Step 2
'Extract To' your FIFA 14 directory. IMPORTANT. This must be a fresh install non-pirated version of FIFA 14.
Mine is CProgram Files (x86)\Origin Games\FIFA 14


Step 3
Click 'Yes to All' to overwrite all files. This may take a while as there are a lot files.


Step 4
Open File Master. Click the 'Regenerate Bh' button. It may take some time to regenerate all files.


Step 5
Start FIFA 14. Important: 'en-US' only. I've removed the option to change the language during the boot sequence.


Step 6
Jump straight in to Kick-off for a North London derby or start career mode with Manchester City.

Thanks Grafsky. Any help would be great, but in particular I'm looking for help with presentation.

Faces - I would love to get the following faces converted from F18 to F14. Frustratingly I have all of the faces on F18 PC (and can supply them) but I've not yet learned how to convert. FIFA 18 to 14 Faces request
Player Boots - Anyone who can create the very latest boots that work with the updated models I have.
Added Club Kits - I have used the kits from MW 19.0.0 for now but I think a few are not this seasons kits
International kits - Not looked at these at all, I think they are ok.
FIFA 18 Kits - I have all of the kits from FIFA 18 working but there is an issue with the sleeve length. I'm less bothered about that and if I can't easily get quality replacements I'll leave them.

since i'm the only one who's creating new 3d boot models for fifa 14 i guess i'm the go-to guy for that. but i have this to ask: the patch sounds great but certain parts are of no interest to me (like kits, overlays, leagues or anything for career mode), so would it be possible to release two versions - one all-in-one and another with separate sections? in particular the only ones i'd be interested in are legends and updated themes/graphics. maybe stadiums.

Ok that's great news on the boots! How do you want to do this? I can supply the FIFA 18 models? Do you also work on textures too?

RE: Splitting the files. The patch currently is over 28GB so it is very likely I'll split things out. I've added this to my tasks and will let you know how. With the legends I may create a FUT Legends.cmp that can be added to the patch for those that want it. It's worth noting that the Legends were created with Career mode 17/18 in mind so they are 16/17 years old, have reduced stats and have been adjusted to grow inline with the growth settings I've tweaked.

i guess i should have clarified - if you want the latest models and textures you need fifa 16 3d model and textures. and that's what i've been doing - bringing them to fifa 14. there's no way anyone can do a better job with textures than Nabo for example so i'm adapting my game to those. apart from that if we're talking about fifa 18 ps 3d models they are totally useless on pc - i've already tried working with them. they are much worse than what we already have in fifa 14. and another thing - new models are being created (like predator 18) that as far as i know haven't been in an game before.

And here are the FIFA 18 Boots I've extracted so far. As it's quite a tedious task can you let me know for future boots which format you need the mesh/model in as there are 4 different types. .fbx (Binary & ASCII), .obj & .dae

The boots are adidas Predator 18+ and adidas X 17+ Purespeed.

I haven't found the X 17 with laces yet.

Adds the Ascenso MX, but its not playable in career mod (Because, the man who do that, don't know how to make a workable league, i tried but was imposible too)

I'm not sure I will be able to add this to my patch. It will require a lot of work to get the league structure to work correctly. Also I'm currently looking at expanding the AFC Champions League and adding the Greek Super League. This will likely fill up my combobj.ini file.

However, I have GOOD NEWS. The Ascenso MX in this patch CAN be played in Career mode. I tested very quickly by switching the ID to 65. Further edits are needed to ensure it runs smoothly for multiple seasons, but it will work.

You can also download this patch - Extend ID

It will allow you to play with any ID but there will not be any objectives for the team you select.

Maybe once I've finished this patch I can help getting this working for you.

PS. Sharing this with me has shown that I can push my compobj.ini as far as 1770 lines which I thought couldn't be done. So thank you for that.
