FIFA 16 Updated Database (8th April)

Hello guys,

I justed updated my DB with the latest squads (2nd October) and thought I'd share it with you if someone needs it. No idea where to post it, so I thought I'd just create a thread. Let me know if something's wrong.

EDIT: New link with updated default_teamsheets table.

EDIT2: Added link to the 3rd December database.

EDIT3: Replaced above link with 7th January database, I'll keep js121's link to the 18th December database in here as well.

I didn't thoroughly check it since I was just mostly testing stuff, but I quickly checked Portland, LA Galaxy, and Santos Laguna as I know the changes for those teams and it looks ok and works fine. Also started up a quick career mode and it was fine too. Maybe a mod can change the date on the thread title too.

Maybe, it really depends on when I'm going to start my career, which I certainly won't do before Rev Mod and some other tools released. I'll likely do a Winter transfer update though once the time has come.

The base database is the one from the last FIFA update (I don't know whether it changed the DB or not, but the data_startup.big was changed so I extracted a fresh one to have all possible changes). The squads are from the latest weekly Match Day Update, I didn't create anything new.

if you extracted the db from there 90% isn't the updated one

updated data is saved in documents

Yes there are about 100 more players.
Do you by chance know if it is compatible with modidngway mod?

I meant I didn't add anything new on my own, only what was added in the squad update.

No idea, I don't know what it changes. But if MM changes the DB as well, it probably won't be compatible. I imported the players, playerloans, player_grudelove, previousteam, formations, teams and teamplayerlinks tables and added the new names from dcplayernames into the playernames table. If MM alters any of these, there will be problems I suppose.

Yes I understood; I was answering to the post above: in fact in yours there are 100 more players than db of last week. Good!

Is it possible to edit just the update? Is it in the documents folder but where?

You can't edit those files, you can just export them via Internal Master 12. You'll find them in Documents/FIFA 16/0/FIFA 16. There are several folders with weird names, which have a DATA and an INDEX file. The DATA file is what you'll need, the difficulty just lies in finding the correct folder (especially if they have the same modification date).

I have a question.

How is it possible that when I play with Origin offline with this updated database I always see old formations and starting elevens ?

On the other hand, if I play with Origin online it downloads squad updates, and it cancels my editing on the database (e.g. adboards relinking)...

Is that any way to solve this, letting me play with Origin offline but with correct rosters and updated squads ?
