FIFA 15 Database Problem & Schedule Question

Hey all,

I've searched around the FIFA 15 forums and it seems no one has come across this (maybe I am too noob) but after installing FIFA 15 (legally bought) I went on editing some things on database using CM 15 (I did no online roster update).

When I went to the game, I could only see the changes I made on teams' logos, stadium nets and referees.

I couldn't, for example, see the scoreboard name of Burnley changed to BUR instead of the original BRN that EA incorrectly put.

I don't know if I should be editing the fifa_ng_db (db) file or the eng_us (loc) file. If anyone knows how to make changes in teams' names work please tell me. I know it works since I saw the MW mod and they changed some teams' names.

Another question I had was if there's any way of changing the default schedules on tournament mode (not career mode, although I think these schedules work for the 1st season in career mode, at least that's how it was with darrek's realistic schedule mod for FIFA 14) for leagues like the Premier League or the Primeira Liga, do I need to create the files that darrek's mod created on FIFA 14? (ex:dlc/dlc_FootballCompEng/dlc/FootballCompEng/data/compdata/schedules and then c13_s1_2014 in the case of the Premier League)

I hope someone could reply to me soon, I know these aren't 2 big issues but I just wanted to make my game as real as possible (I'd love to have all BPL teams with correct names: Tottenham, not Spurs, and correct scoreboard names BUR, not BRN; plus, playing all games on Saturdays at 3pm in BPL isn't that fun).

Thanks for your reply regularcat, I did edit the loc database, yet I still can't see the changes I made. It might be because the eng_us loc file is for the American English, yet on the game I only see the British English option, which would mean I needed to edit the eng_en loc file but I don't have it.

I tried to edit the Portuguese Brazilian (por_br loc file) since Portuguese Brazilian is in the game but I still can't see the changes I made on the teams, I can see all the changes I do to stadiums, teams' logos and referees but I can't see the changes on the teams' names. I honestly don't know what else to do.

Edit: It appears that I solved my first issue, I installed the MW mod and edited their database myself and already could see the changes, but how do I get to see my changes using the original database? Do I need to edit the database and only then apply roster updates on CM? Everytime I edited the original database (already with an online roster update) and made in-game roster reset the changes didn't work.

And about the BPL schedules? It was so easy to change them in FIFA 14 but now I don't even know what schedule file belongs to the BPL!

you can change the BRN to BUR in CM15 teams tab/score board
if you have a squads file saved that stops edits from showing, also regenerating seems to work for me.

open FM 15, browse to data_front_end_extra.big and look for these files.
