FHL-BH editor was giving false positives due to the way it was constructed, the latest version he released was built a different way and now the false positives went away but I think your mod was using the older version still?

I checked again tonight and now my AV (bit defender) is back to having issues with it, it didn't at first when he changed to the new packing system a couple of days ago as mentioned in his thread :(

Anti-virus Updates?

Some will give a false message, especially BitDefender, AVG, Norton, .. not saying they are bad. Just want to say they are not always correct. ;)

After playing 5 or 6 seasons of v.9d here are my thoughts

-Fitness seems right where it should be, players with low stamina (50-60) complain from being tired all the time but that's how it should be
-Physical stat growth seems hit or miss depending on the player. I have an 81 rated LB who came from my youth academy who hasn't gone up in any physical attributes while going up 10 ovr points
-GK production was turned down too much/is a little wonky:I simmed 4 seasons before getting any GK worth promoting to my youth squad and that season I got 3 all from the same country
-Initial physical stats are still too low especially acceleration and sprint speed. The only players who should have less than a starting value of 70 in those stats are CMs and CBs. Also having low physicals to start unbalances players so you'll have a 70 rated LB or RB who has 80 stand and sliding tackle because he has 50 acceleration and sprint speed.
-Some real players grow way past their potential. I saw a player with potential of 75 as listed by sofifa be a 90 ovr at 23 and another guy who had 66 pot be an 85 at 25. This was something that happened in BCP14 as well.
-The issue with international breaks is still not fixed. Lower leagues still have games during international breaks
-It still seems like not all the teams are participating in the transfer window. I look through the teams on deadline day and half of them have not made any moves especially in january. Also I've had multiple deadline days where under 2 million pounds was spent.
-Teams come in way under value for players. I had a LB who was 81 ovr and 20 yrs old valued at 28 mil. He was not transfer listed. Napoli came in a 19.5 mil and wouldn't budge. I think whatever you did to player values has for whatever reason not transferred to the teams offering bids
-Teams don't come in for players enough besides those that are transfer listed. It's frustrating if you want to sell someone for max price so you don't want to transfer list him and no one comes in for him
-Some player values are very large for young players and others aren't for reasons that I don't think involve potential. Player values seem kind of random. Wage values of AI players seems a little random too which I actually like.
Overall I really enjoy it. I just think there are a few things that need to be tinkered with still.
-I had a lot of injuries while simming. I had 2 month stretches of time where I had 3-4 players out injured. It was a little much.
-Is there any way to make it so a double yellow is a one game ban always and the reds can vary. A double yellow shouldn't be more than a one game suspension. Also is it possible to weight the numbers so it is more likely to get a one game ban for a red than a 2 game ban and much more than a 3 game ban?

I also just want to take a moment to say that when EA said they were fixing Goalkeeper AI what they really meant was they were going to make it just as bad just in different ways. It's so very frustrating when your goalkeeper just dives out of the way of the ball or just randomly dives. Other random side note, does anyone else think that scouts should cost wage budget and not transfer budget. I swear EA should just take a whole ton of pages from Sports Interactive's book with Football Manager. The best parts of FIFA combined with the best parts of FM would be a godly game.

Thanks for all your hard work Beta, you allow this game to be much less aggravating than it is by itself and you allow us to have all the fun.

Hey man I've tested version 0.9d for a season and i played 90 percent of the matches, one of the major reasons I downloaded this patch so the career mode would be a bit more grounded but its frustrating to see transfers like Aguero to Chelsea and Higuain to Tottenham, Gotze to City happen. I think there needs to be a lot less top player movement such as this especially for players who have played only a season or two for their former clubs. I think a max of 3-4 Top players should move in a summer transfer window and only where it should make sense.

in the vanilla game, is every team line-up in the BPL commentated? I've found a lot of teams in the BPL now, dont have lineup commentary.

Southampton, West Ham, Burnley, Swansea don't seem to have any commentated lineups, even in Exhibition Mode.

Is this due to the commentary issue still, or was this is in the Vanilla version of the game?

Rather annoyingly Norwich seem to get their team read out even in the Championship when I played them with Sheffield Wednesday whereas Sheffield Wednesday's weren't, there must be a setting somewhere that says this team can be read out and this team can't, we need to find that and enable it for all teams!!!!

Well I know AVG and Norton are bad but I thought BD was supposed to be ok! I prefer Kaspersky TBH but bitdefender comes with Advanced System Care Ultimate which is an app I find useful so like everything under one roof so to speak!

Hi Guys! Just wondering if anyone here know how to edit the simsettings.ini in other to make it a bit more realistic (at least in my case I seem to loose way to many games by simulating)... and if there are any plans on adding this to this mode?

I think it's maybe because Norwich were in the Premiership last year, so they did commentary for it??

I thought it was only BPL only for the team lineups 2bh, but I've noticed that some of them don't have any commentary.

Hey I've been further testing version 0.9d and there are a few things I disagree with. Prior to installing this patch I felt that growth for players over 28 Years was perfect for example player that are supposed to be in their prime did not decrease their stats so fast as in version 0.9d. For example pre-patch I had Koscielny go up to 83 from 81 without him losing his stats because he played consistently in my career and kept a lot of clean sheets, but under version 0.9d his stats are already decreasing even after 5 games with good performances. A positive of version 0.9d is young player growth I feel that it is balanced well. For me pre patch I had Mertesacker go up to 84, Giroud 80, Sokratis 84 and I feel that for defenders that is fine up until they reach 33 years of age. I liked the way my older players were developing pre patch because I played them consistently and had my strikers score consistently too, so the growth made sense. In version 0.9d my players who are over 27 years of age decline too fast as compared to pre patch players. One of the things I liked about fifa 15 was that growth for older players was much more balanced than 14 and it was based on pitch performance more than the age factor. I feel that once players reach the age of 32 thats when we should see the ageing process kick in a bit more. This is my 2 cents on the growth part.

Transfers for me really need to be balanced, players who have been in their clubs for only a year should not be moving so early especially those who had excellent seasons for their respected clubs last year. Players who are currently playing for their teams in real life should not also move so early. There is too much top player movement so far with version 0.9d which I thought should have been toned down from pre patch version. One positive though is the fact that top players are not moving to their rival clubs. For me gotze to city for 55 and modric to city should not be happening for at least 3 seasons to keep it realistic. So far in version 0.9d I have had all these players moving clubs: Aguero, Rooney, Dzeko, Higuain, Modric, Gotze, Cavani, Benzema, Vidal,. Some of the moves don't even make sense. Chelsea should not be signing Cavani especially after signing Costa and Remy recently. Modric and Gotze should not be going to City so soon especially with the wealth of talent they have in midfield. Benzema to Bayern doesnt make sense especially after Bayern have signed Lewandowski. Vidal to united makes sense as he is being linked in real life as well so that I have no qualms with but Aguero and Rooney both to Madrid should not happen not for at least another 2 to 3 years. If these issues can be tweaked so only top player moves that make sense happen, then I think this patch is worth the download but so far I feel a lot of tweaking needs to be done.

I have uploaded v0.9e as an Unstable Release:
- Player growth changes
- More transfer activities
- Increases max. team diff. This will help loaning/selling players, and hope transfers will be improved with this
- Budget changes
- Game-sliders (v0.1) (optional)

The biggest changes:
- Player values & wages are based on club prestige. This means a team like Man. City will provide higher wages, than say QPR. But also Arsenal will give a player a bit lower wages than Man. City.
- Transfer values are a higher for clubs with high prestige, like say Bayern, Real, etc.
- Transfer values are lower for low prestige clubs, like QPR, Ajax, ADO, etc.

Please take a look at playervalues.ini & playerwages.ini, to see what I tweaked. ;)

Before installing this version: this isn't compatible with your current career!


Also some notes:
- Commentary is fixed as it is: most from the BPL have line-ups, (most) lower teams haven't.
- I want to make the transfers more realistic, but it seems to be a difficult tasks for me. It seems no matter what top players seems to move, hope this can be fixed. Really hate this to. :(

Yes, it´s a little bit too much. Generally growth for CPU-Players is also too fast.

Yeah, it´s getting too much. Wouldn´t bother, if it were more low injuries, instead of medium/high injuries.

In version 0.9d my players who are over 27 years of age decline too fast as compared to pre patch players.
Yeah, still sometimes player at the age of 27 start to loose physical attributes. Older players loose too much mental stats. Should rather grow.

I also had a bug, where i would receive negative offers for my players or crazy offers like €1.500.000.000. (i tried to accept, but nothing happened)
The asking price for players with 1 year contract time left, is still way too high. (not the playervalue by itself, but cpu still requests 140% of the real playervalue)
CPU-Team can buy other CPU-Team players below the value all the time.

Took also a short look into the new release. (v0.9e)
Cant say anything regarding the transfers yet, but the playervalues are not good. The values for young players with high potential are over the top. Also i see nearly no effect for the teamprestige. I´ve achieved better values with changing the playerprestige, instead of teamprestige.

I´ve managed to fix the playervalues for v0.9d to match reallife values as close as possible. Will try the same later for v.09e.

It´s hard to fix the transfers, if we dont find final settings for playervalue & askingprices.
