FIFA 15 Better Career Patch

Was going to hold off on trying this because i'm into my current career mode, but I just know as soon as the transfer window hits everything will just fall to pieces so I may as well try this now.

Is there way of minimising big name transfers in the winter window? I noticed the comments regards to Suarez and Reus and it's a little unrealistic from the Suarez side of things at least. If that transfer happens in the summer then it's a little more believable at least. Reus moving in the winter would not be completely unrealistic, and big transfers do happen now and again.

Anyone know if its possible to change your starting birth year or age? Would be great if i could start as a 16 or 17yo instead of 19.

Beta, is it normal that I keep being disconnected from the EA servers? Can't even connect to them by pressing right stick.

No, any other mods installed? Try to open a CMD and ping to google.com, ... when playing the game. You will known if it is an internet issue or you need to open some ports.

Is there a way to get never sacked in the career mode?

Open board.ini, there is line that you can change from 1 to 0. Remember
to edit with Notepad++.

Yes and no. I tried to lower then, but since this is the first release, it needs a bit more tweaking. 100% perfect is impossible, because of how the game works. But we will try our best.
I also hate the big names that move in the first season.

It is possible, but that requires editing the fifadb. You can change the lines in (youth)scout.ini, but this will not be 100% perfect.
In the next releases I will try to add this again.

Edit playergrowth.ini with Notepad++. Increase the numbers that a displayed on the bottom with your own needs.

e.g.

NORMAL_PHYS_X_0 = 16
NORMAL_PHYS_Y_0 = 65 // increase this to like 80

This controls the maximum (growth) points a 16 till 23 year old may earn.

short feedback to v.01:

- more transfers generally
- more transfers for lower clubs
- still some unrealistic transfers,......suarez and reus changed their clubs in the winter
- stamina changes seem to be fine
- better scouts and youthplayers
- playervalues more realistic
- less playergrowth and unfortunetaly negative growth for players under 30y

No, you can continue your current career.

No problem here. Download the i68 controller again, clean documents folder (there should be an i86 directory) and run it again.

Sry, should have made myself more clear. I mean, there is more transfers, which is a good thing.

I´ve already tested V0.2RC1.
So far i like your changes.

Beside one thing,......it´s the playergrowth.
Something is not working properly. While i see a little bit more growth for young players, i can also see faster negative growth for older players. (28-31)
Maybe because i simulate to test your changes?

Generally i would love to see much more individual growth. Not only 2-4 players.
Is the command line "MONTHLY_UPDATE_NUM_TEAMS" gone?

Pls also get sure the fitness system is not too demanding.

You dont need to start a new career, as beta990 stated already a few post before.

And no, every release is a stand-alone.

Hi all!
First of all I want to say that I don't see any difference between fifa 14 and 15 career mode.
Still the same mistakes, like a lot of players that don't grow physical attributes.
I have players comming from youth academy or regen players that reach 89 overall with 71 acceleration, 62 stamina and so on at physical and 90+ at skill, just like fifa 14.
I tryed to modify different values in player growth but nothing seems to work, I can make a player have 95 overall but physical attributes don't grow at all.
Also I hate this masking of players overall, and if gtndatareveal is no longer used, I wonder how can we change that, because through scouting I waste hours just searching players that most don't match what I need.
But I'm hopefull, since it's just the beginning of modding and we are more advanced at this than last year at the same time.

what did you use to export the files from the .bigs? Or did you use old files from Fifa 14?

EDIT: Okay, File Master works for that, but files are encrypted.

Fairly certain there's some differences between the FIFA 14 and FIFA 15 playergrowth.ini. Just extracting the 14 ini and putting in the same spot for 15, results in players not growing at all (that's with no changes whatsoever to the ini file).

Did you use the FIFA 15 ini? If so, how? I just get a jumbled mess when using the file master to extract the fifa 15 one.

I seem to remember a similar issue with FIFA 14. From memory, you need to change the phys_x value to a lower number. For instance, the first one is 16 I think. Try lowering that.

Also, I think changing the form_age_division helped too, but my memory is a bit sketchy!
