does your mod cause any problem with EASFC Football Club earning credit and XP?

For the first few days, its been running smoothly and everytime I won a match in Career mode, I get the usual XP and credit to level up and buy upgrades. But for the past few hours, its just been stuck on what I'm currently on. Everytime I win, it doesn't show up saying I won....bla bla etc.


Mods I'm using are: Revolution mod (just graphics) and Career Better Patch (tried disabling rna.ini, but still no luck :( )


you got any clue?

P.S. Anyway your patch is wonderful as ever!

Another thing I noticed about gameplay is that the CPU slide tackles way too much. At least EA fixed the always perfect slide tackles from last year but this year even when a player is containing they will try to slide tackle you. Also can we make it so GK form matters in game. I was playing a game and the commentary said the opposing GK had low form recently. Then I took a cracking shot from the edge of the box and he makes a ridiculous full extension save. I would also like to see a difference in ability of GKs between a championship GK and Manuel Neuer because on power shots they all seem to be ridiculous but there are exploits that are really frustrating such as shooting as soon as the GK comes out.

- compdata folder
- scripts folder
- commentaryweights.ini
- commentators_notes.ini
- commentators_note_matchday.ini
and many others files unmodified or encrypted. As you said, not all files are from PC version, so i'm not really confident about that, and I think it's more secure to remove unused (by the mod) files.

Finally my folder only have those files :


I removed playergrowth.ini because actually it's unusable and act oddly on players.

The game seems to work properly so I guess these files act as an override and when they are removed, it's the defaults files that are used.

I removed everything that I thought was unneeded :
- compdata folder
- scripts folder
- commentaryweights.ini
- commentators_notes.ini
- commentators_note_matchday.ini
and many others files unmodified or encrypted. As you said, not all files are from PC version, so i'm not really confident about that, and I think it's more secure to remove unused (by the mod) files.

The only one I see missing that is needed is board.ini
There are a couple changeable options that I at least would like to adjust outside of the mod. Otherwise it looks pretty slim and sleek I like it.

Known bug, will fix this in the next version. It seems that a line inside rna.ini is causing this issue. Will take a look what line is responsible for this behavior. :)

About your commentary question; this should be fixed in v0.5.

I think this is caused by more people that are online or EA but some kind of check, but don't know for sure.
I didn't changed any online things, are all required ports open?

I've edited files in compdata (increased game-ban when red/double-yellow carded to 3 games max.), inside script folder I removed teams buying without haven't the actual budget and reduced retirement.
That is also what I find strange, the scripts/compdata folder, is from the PC version itself. So it should work without any problems.

About playgrowth.ini, what was wrong with it?

Feel free to do what every you want thought, I only provided this mod, so it can easy be changed to your own needs. :)

Dont know how you think, but i would prefer less renewals and more pre-signed contracts with other clubs.


I would love to see even more transfer movements.
Sometimes some medium/low clubs in BPL and Bundesliga dont transfer even one player in 3-4 transfer windows. You wouldn´t see this in real life.
Better clubs should go for the top players from the lower clubs in their leagues.


Less top-player movement is good, yet i think it´s too less.
I see a lot attempts from CPU, but it seems player are refusing offers from different clubs all the time.
At least the top-clubs should go more for perspective players.


Some stupid transfers are also still happening. Barca signed with Rene Adler (81)an other GK in the first transfer winter. Because Bravo (83), Ter-Stegen (82) and Jordi Masip (70) is not enough,...

- Sometimes weight & height dont match.
- Low height CB & GK. (>180cm)

Dont know, it acts kinda strange to be honest. Would say vanilla is more balanced.

Beside that i have more decline for older players. It also begins earlier compared to vanilla.
A lot of players starting to decline with 28-30. I think Xabi Alonso is a good example for the opposite. ;)

GK-Growth is kinda strange. Either much growth or nothing at all.

High Pot./Low ovr. (86/69) should have little bit faster growth than High Pot./Middle ovr. (82/74)

Why have you tuned the referee foul- & cardstrictness down that much?
Will you still face enough fouls?
The fouls are sill there, but like in the EPL, the referee will keep the game more going, and give the player a card later. At least, that is the idea behind it. :P

Oh I missed that :/, i'll put them back, they are from PC version so it should be ok

I've noticed many random growth on some players, with edited playergrowth...For example old player decrease sooner, or young player loose attributes sometimes, mainly physical attributes.
And seems a bit more of players of my team do not increase (but maybe this part is caused by calendar simulation that don't give enough playtime to some players).
GK growth is strange too, but even in vanilla it's strange

Would be better to increase, instead of returning to default.
With default values, you are not forced to rotate at all.

It would also help, if my players wouldn´t like to play every damn game and get upset that fast. Somtimes even with low-fitness or with an injury.

Another issue is, that CPU also doesn´t tend to rotate. CPU will always try to bring the best players on the pitch. So they will play with their best starting eleven in the league and two days later in CL/EL, they will have to use unfit players or players out of position to compensate.

This is the biggest issue for me, with too tight fitness system.

Great would be, if the fatigue would build up over the time.
And of course it would be great, if CPU-Coach would start to use his players more cleverly. :P

In my simulations i deactived the first transfer windows in summer. Because of this, CPU will use his budget to make some "extreme" transfers in winter. But over 15 years of simulation, i really didn´t saw too many top-player transfers. Maybe because i wasn´t going for big transfers myself?

But i would rather see top-clubs go for all the top-talents.
You know,....Zivkovic, Depay, Laporte, Brandt, Rafa, Quintero, Origi, Scuffet, Kurzawa.

Most of them, were still in their clubs after 4-5 years of simulation.
Some of them evolved to worldclass-players already in that time.

There is a reason, Fifa lets CPU-Clubs cheat with the budget.
Otherwise CPU starts to get limited in his moves.

One thing im also missing in Fifa, is seeing former top-players move to medium clubs, when getting old(er).

Have an idea which db you will use?
I hope someone will release an expanded db with all missing players, real coaches, etc.

I always increase the potentials for some selected players in my db´s.
Otherwise the game will lack of top-players after 10 years and the average level drops.

No, im not sure at all.
But as the players decline faster, it stands out more.

The whole random retirement system is so stupid.

I released a test version (See 'Testing Releases' > FIFA_15_BCP_v0.6.exe.zip), with a lot of improvements, changes, fixes, .. to much to list. :D
It also clean-ups the FIFA 15 directories from unused files that came with previous versions.

Every file has been rewritten, checked, tested.. by me, and changes has been made to be as close asap to the feedback as you guys give me. :)

Focus area's:
- Transfer-marked (receiving offers, (top) player transfers, player values ..)
- Gameplay (hope this fixed the heavy tackling, etc.)
- Player growth, morale, ..
- Fitness (new system)
- ..

Please tell me what changes you (don't) like.

Have fun beta! One thing for the new update, it seems to have messed with the squads because after installing the patch, I seem to not be able to play any of my career modes. Also the squads are messed up, (Falcao still in Monaco)

Hey beta,

been experimenting with your rna.ini which i am guessing is your AI upgrade. This is version .6 by the way. On world cup it seemed to make the game easier for me. I basically kept the rca vanilla, did not change anything as i'm not sure what their effects are. The pace of the game is appealing, but again at world class, i felt like the AI was an improvement in strategy but slower in accomplishing the strategy, it was also easy to dispossess the AI, is that by design? I do like the fouls they do cause, and that when they slide for tackles etc... the cheating factor isn't there.

Can you tell me more about the RNA and how if any it differs from the cl.ini. Thanks.

Are you sure? Just download the squadupdate once again.

After some times of testing v0.6, this is what i found:

- Transfers

I saw some really good top-player transfers, but at the same time not too many. Generally i like the changes you´ve made.

A lot of good transfers, but two things im missing.

Still a few top talents stick too long with their clubs.
If a players level/ovr. is way above the team, he should force a transfer.

Playing Bundesliga or BPL clubs i see too many clubs completely inactive on transfermarket. Sometimes they might sell one player, but dont even get a replacement.

Clubs like Hannover, Mainz, Werder Bremen, Freiburg, Hull, Leicester, West Brom, Newcastle.

With increased playervalues, maybe we need increased budgets for lower teams?

Playervalues are mostly fine, but could be better balanced for age.
While i see your changes for Prestige, i still see low clubs asking too high prices.

Maybe this values are responsible for this?

POOR_TEAM_MAX_PERC = 120
MEDIUM_TEAM_MAX_PERC = 140

- Player growth/morale

WAY better than before.
I really like the growth for my players. Also the new moral settings seem to work fine.

CPU players growth can be sometimes a little bit extreme. Few players had 8-10 ovr. growth within one season.

Players decline still a little bit earlier in physics with your settings. But my older players also had some growth for skill attributes. This balances the declension of older players a little bit. Hope you can balance this even more.

- Fitness (new system)

Should be fine now.
Definitely better.

Maybe you could increase the injuries a little bit? (for more realism)
In simulated games, aswell in training and internationals.

-Gameplay

Again i couldn´t test as much, but i didn´t found any bugs.
I like to play on slow and with your gamespeed settings it´s gettings too slow.

-Retirement

Are there any players retiring before the age of 35?
If so, i couldn´t find them.

And why do the contracts get renewed all the time? Who would resign 37 year old Xavi with ~72 ovr. ?


Overall the mod is already better than vanilla.
Hope you can look at the things mentioned above and give the Scouts and Youthplayers some love. ;)

No problem here, I don't provide a database either. Only a patched fifadb.xml file, but should not be a problem.
Are you using the 'Download latest squad update?' (You should use that)
Also.. other mods installed? Regenerate?

I think you mean Word Class instead of Word Cup, right? :P
About the differences: I use rna.ini to provide gameplay hacks, well other use cl.ini. It is also possible to use user.ini, etc. But I keep using rna.ini because this is also in the game files itself, and is empty by default. Better keep it safe. :P

The gameplay still needs to be improved, to make the gameplay harder:

Thanks for your feedback! Will try to improve the next couple of versions. Also to see what really controls the transfers, because it is also strange for me, that some teams doesn't have any activity at all. ;)

Will go through your list for the next version. :)

The starting line-up commentary problem is still there :( Before the patch, the commentator would state the team line-ups b4 the game, with the patch installed it says "Now "Your Team's" line up & then says nothing"
