The blacklist is a feature within the database and it really isn't a new feature. That list is empty by default and beta990 filled it up with players that a team will never sell, just like in real life. AI nor you will able to buy these players. It will say the player isn't available for sale. Same as you flagging your own player to block the teams for any further transaction offer.

Yep, but it seems not to work properly.

To give an example:
- The CPU/AI still buys Rooney, even when I blocked it with the blacklist.

I already tried to edit 'the scripts', e.g.:

local isListed = IsPlayerOnTransferList( playerId )
	local isBlacklisted = BlacklistPlayer( playerId ) <-- added

BlacklistPlayer is in fifa.exe, and I don't see any other script that is using it. So I don't know if it 100% works like this. :P

Well guys, for those who, like me, don't like the body models and think that they are to fat, I have found a solution.
You should open scout ini and tweak the values:
[PLAYER_APPEARANCE]
LOW_CHANCE = 80
HIGH_CHANCE = 0
it is up to you what chance assign to low chance, but high chance should be 0 if you do not want fat or Hulk like players with nfl shoulders.
Also you can tweak player appearance fot every tipe of player height and weight, where lower and upper limits can be quite permisive. (I set a difference of 10 here between min and max).
And so you can get normal looking players.

Hey Beta, haven't used your mod in a while and recently started using your latest version. Firstly, thanks for all your work put into this mod.

For me, player growth is still the issue, like it was in earlier versions. Players always start declining at age 27, always (keepers included). Also, it seems to primarily be their 'mental' stats that decrease first, which makes no sense. Eg. Dembele Vertonghen and Lloris all declined -5 in agression, and some -2 in positioning. Players growth feels a little off too. A 25 year old reserve grew +2, while my 23 year old striker, on great form, didn't grow at all. His stats didn't even change. Player growth on other teams is fine..

Sorry to sound to negative and harsh, but I feel that if you could fix this issue, the mod would be perfect. Thanks Beta

The reason why I wanted to use career_blacklist:
When I update the squads I don't have to modified all the players, and this makes it a bit more easier for me. I'm now looking for a better solution (or not..:P).

Hey, I just downloaded the patch, installed it, started a new career and disabled the first transfer window. Now Im in the winter transfer window and tried to buy players and 99% of them I cant approach. Are they all blacklisted or is this a bug?

I like the feature that stars like Ronaldo etc. wont switch clubs every season but it's hardly realistic if I cant even approach any players from lower leagues.

EDIT: Please try the previous version (Beta 11), if this solves the problem, than I made a mistake somewhere. :P

That should be a bug, but how many do you bid? You will need to at least 90% of the player value.
Please give me an example of what player you want to buy and what you're are in, so I can investigate.

I was Everton & WBA (2 teams I've tested with)... all my young players squad status are now "important first team player", rather than future or sporadic like before. This means big teams come in for your young loanees now & they are upset as soon as you put them on the loan list.

The squad statuses need looking at!

Beta how to I make it so that I can change files like youth scout.ini because they are encrypted or something atm.

You have to install the patched database otherwise you will get this error. I had this issue until I reinstalled the mod and selected the patched database option to install as well as the other mod options.

EDIT: Figured it out... helps to regenerate the files post-fixes
