FIFA 14 Full Game [Features, Feedback & Details]

Hello FIFA 14 fans,

You may have noticed that the second title update for FIFA 14 is currently live on PC. Please note that the update is scheduled to come to consoles over the next week. We'll share more news as it becomes available and timings are confirmed.

The FIFA 14 update addresses issues that FIFA fans have brought to our attention with important and appreciated feedback, including the following:

• Balancing lofted through balls.
• Balancing attacking headers.
• Balancing finesse shots.
• Improved defender switching during crosses.
• Freezes while making substitutions during gameplay.
• Freezes while entering and exiting Leaderboards.
• Improvements made to Dynamic Camera.
• Corrected crowd sections in Signal Iduna Park.
• Corrected “Any” and “GK” filters in Pro Clubs.
• We've responded to the community and upgraded FIFA 14 cover star Stephan El Shaarawy to 4* Skills in Online Seasons, Head to Head, and Career Mode using EA SPORTS Football Club Match Day. Since the FIFA 14 Ultimate Team ratings and database are separate from the Match Day Update, he will be assessed and potentially upgraded in FUT at a later date.

We've located some of the issues causing freezing throughout the game, but not all of them. Please continue to let us know about specific instances on the EA forums as your feedback has helped immensely. There are a small percentage of remaining crashing/freezing instances and the team will continue to investigate and address them as needed. Thanks for your patience during this time.

Well thanks chaps

I have to be clear though im not a massive over user of play ANY offline, as much as I do for quick games and things which is still enjoyable to play passing footy (mainly tournament at the moment) much better than 13 I do like my AI and being a player of a team, this is where you can really get a feel for changes becuase you focused to one character so its from that perspective mainly. I hope it helps becuase I got tired of asking Q's in forums and you just didnt get many replies at all or it was all about "F** EA" and thats it

Of course if you think im posting un-founded crap then thats ok becuase its all personal preference at the end of the day. I also have to stress I am by no means a EA/Fifa fanboy .. much at all

If you want to really test it all I play CDM becuase you are a play maker and defender so you get a good feel for it, positioning (feel of movement) running to space (momentum and timing) tackling (weight) .. passing up field and defending, also playing as a defender is a good test as I mentioned before, gets you used to the controls more for attack & defend so then if you play ANY and you switch to defend you know better how to play it as that "character" and same goes for other positions.

I just feel that playing any can sometimes mean your skipping through each position switch switch switch and dont realy get to appreciate the position and also the new anims and feel unless you really play a pro match over a few matches.

Man I have to say I really enjoy this years game, I'm not even sure I will modd anything. The entire flow and pace of the game is what I have been looking for.

I've already played more games this year than the last 2 years combined.

I agree that if feels like a modded 13 already. Although it never hurts to test out some new ones coming for AI to see if it adds even more to it seeing as this is the bar now before modding, so its all a bonus

EA is forcing us to buy new console because they focused on next gen this year. This is the sadly truth.

Thanks but I really dont need the same official EA mantra again I can read it on that forum site. You cant tell me much at all, plus your reply doesnt even fit with what I was replying to and posted about here.

A: I got it at cheap price I though it was worth "to me" (knowing what it does and doesn't really do) after waying it up.
B: I'm no fanboy so preaching to the choir a bit too.

Be my guest if you want to have a non purchase protest, no one has to buy it, no one has to read this thread or agree on it I dont sing its praises I just like what I get from it listed here with some info in case anyone else wants to read before they think to buy ... (or not).

I thought that was just a bug in the demo, you mean they didn't fix that for the full game?

Actually, in Demo I wasn't pissed with it much as it wasn't that often, but now Yea, It's worse and happens a lot... Only thing I noticed improved are headers. EA fixed that in last patch, but its ridiculous how DEMO is different from Full. Online play is laughable, also.

To withhold payment? When did I promise EA I'd buy FIFA 14?

So let me get this straight: the bug Waldo described hasn't been fixed, nor has EA even acknowledged it as an issue. So I assume the similar bug having to do with CPU defenders clearing the ball to teammates via blind, pin-pinpoint, 15-20 yard balloon passes hasn't been fixed either? What about the suction bug that pulls your player away in the wrong direction when you're running with the ball near a CPU defender? Was that fixed?

This game has some major bugs in it that weren't in FIFA 13 and I assumed they'd all be fixed in the full game. What's going on? Very weird given those issues are so obvious and have a very noticeable and negative impact on the gameplay.

I have seen GK do something that has been described however I haven't seen them do so much on 100 slider and non patched and using immersion mod beta.

Another thing that will put you off bangus (I joke again .. sort of) is the kit creases from demo are different too:

Demo compared to full from kit selection screen.

I am currently trying to edit the RX3's that deal with this and getting some basic results along with tools crashing but I am determined at some stage to get it back to demo.

I think EA thought that the files for demo were too large creases and went back to "defined" version ... but I prefer demo. Or ... they used these textures for demo which would have been "next gen look" if clothing physics is switched off, well that's my take on it.

This one one of the first demo things I noticed in cut scenes, especially after match.
