Im using Moddingway patch and rename "loc-licensed" to "loc", db language is working fine for me.

ill try again and see, cause i was testing one but no change. Maybe i have to restart the game for the loc folder to take effect.

Test: Same issues as some else: Non logo on start (as seen in your screenshots). I don't have crashes.

Would it be possible to share your fifa.exe (and bypass origin?)? Because I'm playing with Origin, maybe the problem is there?

Firstly, its great to see you involved in FIFA 14 modding, I have used all your PES loaders over the years, you certainly will help this scene and add to the great work already been put into FIFA by the likes of Regularcat, Fidel, AndreaPirlo21 and the rest.


I am another who cannot for the life of me get this File Loader to work, and believe me, I have enough PC's here to test it on, here are the machines I have tested it on:-


x64 CPU Samsung Gamer 7 laptop tested with both Win7 and Win 8, and tested in both 32-bit and 64-bit iterations for each OS

x64 CPU Asus laptop using purely Win7, 64-bit OS only

x86 CPU Acer laptop using Win8 32-bit OS only

x86 CPU HP Laptop using Win7 32-bit OS only



I tried the earlier Demo File Loader on the Demo with no luck but admittedly only tested the Demo on the x64 CPU Samsung laptop

I've tested the Full version (for both .exe's, v1.0 and the new EA v1.2 update and using both the 1.0.3.1 and 1.0.3.2 versions of your File Loader) on all the four above machines on all the OS types I listed above, and still no joy.

When I say no joy, I am basing that on the logo not appearing at the controller stage, surely if that doesnt show it wont work.

I am also wondering how on earth this works anyway, because nothing gets put into the cl.ini, the rna.ini, or the user.ini, just the fifa14mod.ini contains references to the fifa14mod folder, so am I correct to assume the FIFA14.exe looks for ANY .ini files in FIFA14\Game and hence your fifa14mod.ini file is referenced (for those that can get it to work)???

For the record (and just in case it is not working for EU/UK versions, which is what I am using, as opposed to maybe, say, a USA version, thats of course if they differ at all), here are the details of my v1.2 FIFA14.exe file:--

Just realised where I was going wrong...................the assumption that the logo not appearing meant it wasn't working!! That was a bad assumption.............

I have now been happily testing Fidel and AndreaPirlo21's AI + DB Mods for the last hour, all loaded via simply placing them in that FIFA14MOD folder............marvellous!!!

For anyone else who still has problems here is what I have done:-


- Installed Moddingway 0.5 (essential for Fidel's mod and needed for the Moddingway version of AndreaPirlo21's latest mod)

- Copied the 2 files and FIFA14MOD folder into \FIFA 14\Game

- Extracted whichever version of mod I wanted to test into \FIFA 14\Game\FIFA14MOD



No regenerating required, which saves a lot of time especially for the 15 minutes it took earlier Regenerating to use Fidel's latest Mod. Confirmed the Mod's DB is 'live' by checking the ratings for players compared to the Vanilla ratings.

Both Mod's absolutely killing v1.2's mess caused by EA................both Mod's have brought back the Demo and v1.0's fluidity, and timesed that by 10 x..............I think the fact I sit through countless Barca vs Real Madrid matches (with both teams having player like Ibra, Ronaldinho, Coutniho and Nani transferred into them) helps in terms of the difference it makes via the Mods compared to the Vanilla v1.2 gameplay, but hey, I'm happy!

It's not working for me either. I copied the 2 files and the Fifa14mod in the Game folder, but no logo on startup and no kits showing in game (only tried with kits). Game is installed on win 7 64, in CProgram Files (x86)\EA Sports\FIFA 14.

For me, it works great for the demo, but not for the full version on Fifa. I'm using the newest version of File loader, for the full game.

can someone please add a full step by step tutorial for how to assign kits to teams, this looks a bit complicated and the instructions are scattered throughout this thread. Would be very helpful and save you a lot of time answering the same questions. Thanks.
